Im a sucker for fantasy and romance, I hope that you are as well as those are going to be two themes that I would like to be in this roleplay. I'm a semi- literate to literate writer and roughly write about 1 or 2 and more paragraphs for each response depending on the situation of the roleplay. Welcome! To start I’m 24 and from the Uk (Just so you’re aware of the timezone difference or hopefully we’ll be in the same one!)

I have been roleplaying for almost a decade but took a hiatus for personal reasons. But now I’m back and ready to flex my creative brain best I can hopefully with you!

When it comes to roleplay I really enjoy longer paragraphs, detailed responses that can give my character something to work off of and I will always try and do the same for you. Preferably 3rd person and no ‘OP OC’s please. I prefer brainstorming together where the plot will go rather than me leading the story! I’m happy to be a passenger at times if you have ideas but I’m more than happy talking them out with you.
I personally ONLY do slow burns even if it’s painfully obvious our characters like one another I enjoy a story that lacks a verbal confirmation on the subject. I’d like to build our characters together and have them connect and fall over time if that’s what you enjoy to!

I adore the hunger games! Currently reading The ballad of songbirds and snakes (have not read haymitch’s games yet). My first idea was to have both our tributes be reaped and survive the games. If we work well this could be a long term roleplay as there’s plenty to write pre game, in the games and after! I am open to other ideas for example: a romance between a tribute and mentor. Our character will be 21+, we can just change the reaping age.

Tonight I’m writing here for what I feel is a long shot anyhow. However, I do have hope!

Firstly? My name is Van! I’m 22, based in the EST timezone, and I work a funky schedule (5pm-5:30am) so I’m usually up all hours of the night even when I’m off work! When I’m not actively writing, I enjoy talking OOC and fangirling over my/our ocs! or just cracking jokes and yapping!

A prince dies at possibly the worst moment imaginable.

His death would destabilise an alliance, throw succession into question, and give half the court exactly the opportunity they’ve been waiting for.

So the council hides it.

They find a man close enough in age and appearance to pass for him, and I’d play that man, who is still younger and less experienced than your late husband.

Your character would be the person who knew the prince better than anyone else.

She knows his handwriting, habits, family, temper, friendships, routines, old injuries, embarrassing stories, political grudges, and all the tiny details nobody preparing an impostor would ever think to ask about.

So she gets the deeply unpleasant job of teaching a stranger how to become him while also being unable to process her loss properly.

That’s the part I really want to write.

The lessons and corrections during ceremonies. Him blanking on someone he supposedly grew up with. Her having to explain stories she hasn’t spoken about in years. Eventually he gets convincing enough that people stop questioning him.

Then he starts making the role his own.

Small decisions at first. He handles the household differently, has different political instincts, and gives answers the real prince never would have given.

People start commenting that the prince seems different after his illness.

Maybe some of them prefer him this way.

Meanwhile, she’s the only person in the palace who knows exactly who he is, and he gradually becomes the only person who understands what it takes for her to keep the lie alive every day.

That’s really the dynamic I’m interested in.

I don’t want to decide beforehand whether they end up trusting each other, resenting each other, becoming close, constantly fighting, or some weird mixture of all of it. I’d rather let that come out naturally from whatever we actually write.

I’m 24M, GMT+2, I write both first and third person, and I’m looking for something long term and human focused. I love side characters that slowly become important, court politics, calm scenes, stupid arguments.

I prefer MxF with me as F, but I'm willing to do any pairing because my roleplays are so sparse now adays. 26m seeking 21+ of any gender to write a good old fashioned (or maybe not so old fashioned?) western. Literate, third person, past tense please. I try to match length and can be variable, replies may be shorter or longer depending of the flow of the story—quality > quantity always.

I recently watched The Ballad of Buster Scruggs and it really got me wanting to get into that setting. Mild historical accuracy appreciated but I’m not a stickler— enough to maintain the suspension of disbelief, but at the end of the day it’s still fiction. The Basic Premise:

Every 200 years, the gods meet at Olympus with their children accompanying them to see if they are ready to replace and take their seat at the table as gods. The children will take the names of their parents as titles. (Ex: Zeus’s son becomes the new Zeus)

At the most recent event, something happened that hadn’t happened in the history of the event taking place, Hades and Persephone brought their child. The man was named Adonis and he was relatively young compared to the other demigods since he was only born 90 years prior to the event. His presence brought whispers and gossip from most of the demigods and some of the gods that didn’t know about his existence. Adonis was kind, generous, respectful which was shocking since those weren’t traits of the average demigod.

The event went normally until the sound of Hades’s voice cut through all of the chatter, grabbing everyone’s attention. He spoke with a deep, calm, and soothing voice as he made his proclamation. “From this day onward, my son will replace me as the king of the Underworld. Raise a glass to the new Hades!” This left everyone shocked, even Zeus. Hades was the only god not to consider replacing himself and to do it so soon after his son being born was unusual because the gods typically wait for their replacement to turn at least 200 years of age.

We can continue from this point if you want. I’m looking for a slow burn romance where our characters get more comfortable around each other and one or both of them start developing feelings for each other.

I am currently seeking someone to roleplay with, someone long term that enjoys world building and getting invested in not just the plot but the setting and characters as well.

I truly enjoy fleshing out the setting, making a world of our own and making it feel alive. For me I enjoy plots that have a healthy mix of action, adventure, drama and romance, a plot that allows exploration of the entire setting and experiencing all manner of aspects, from tense battles to political intrigue and everything in between.

A fair warning that i do work and my schedule can be rather all over the place, with multiple replies some days or one other days. I do my best to communicate if I am going to be absent for more then a few says and would like the same courtesy. I prefer writing with those 21+ due to my own age.

Hey there party people! I’m looking for someone interested in a long-term, one-on-one realistic roleplay. I’m specifically looking for something character-driven with an actual storyline that gives us plenty to work with beyond just romance. I prefer writing in first person, and I’m hoping to find someone who enjoys developing characters, relationships, and situations naturally over time.
I’m not looking for fantasy, supernatural elements, or anything overly unrealistic. I’d much rather have something grounded in the real world with plenty of drama, tension, emotional moments, and everyday interactions mixed into the larger plot.

One idea I’ve been wanting to explore involves two people who meet under less-than-ideal circumstances and slowly become part of each other’s lives. They initially have very different personalities and goals, and neither of them expects the other to become important to them. As they spend more time together, they start learning things about each other that they don’t normally share with people. That can lead to misunderstandings, arguments, unexpected situations, and eventually a relationship that develops naturally rather than immediately.
I’m completely open to changing the premise or coming up with something entirely different together. I love brainstorming and building a story collaboratively, so please bring your own ideas too!

I’m looking for someone who is fairly active, communicative, and willing to contribute to the story. I don’t expect instant replies, but I do appreciate consistency and effort. I’m here for the story first, with romance and drama developing naturally alongside it.

You and I have been best friends for years, and your family’s lake house has always been our go-to spot to unwind. This summer, something feels different. One night, after a long day on the water, everything comes out—we admit we’ve been feeling more than just friendship for a while now. Words turn into actions and our hopes and dreams about each other finally come to fruition. We spend the rest of the weak sneaking around, sharing glances and touches here and there. Both of us assuming this week was all we had.

What starts as a spark quickly becomes something we can’t ignore, and before we know it, we’ve crossed the line into something deeper. It’s where we figure out what kind of life we want to build together and how to tell our families. Being unable to be apart following our week long vacation.

I'd prefer the typical cliche of demon trying to convince the innocent angel to sin (lust included ;) ) or perhaps a heaven infiltration or Gabriel being undercover in the underworld

For religious ocs really I'm okay with almost anything! Gabriel is a closeted gay man in severe denial due to traumatic events though.

Hello everyone! Today I’m looking to do a rp set in the world of Undertale. Like I said, you don’t need any knowledge of the game. Heck, not having any knowledge might be beneficial since you exploring the world and meeting the characters would be completely genuine.

Anyways, I’m looking to GM a roleplay where you fall into the Underground, the civilization where monsters lived. Long ago, a war between humans and monsters broke out and the monsters have been sealed down here by magic since then. Once you fall down there, you obviously want to go home. So, your quest is to make your way through the Underground and get out. Along the way, you’ll encounter many monsters. However, monsters in this world aren’t like what you usually think of. They’re a lot like people. They talk, they have a society, they feel emotions, they think intelligently, they have houses and restaurants, etc. They’re more like humans than you’d think. Still, they still try to take your life. What will you do on your journey? Will you fight every monster or befriend them instead? Will you be the monster’s savior or their doom? Will you make lots of friends or leave a trail of bodies behind you? That is up to you.

If you’re familiar with Undertale are concerned about this being too similar to the game, don’t be! I plan for this rp to have more character to it. Characters will talk more and will have more moments with you, the player character will be you instead of the one from the game, fights will be less video gamey and more real time, locales will be more realistically laid out (like, Snowdin won’t be a straight line for example), etc. If you’re not interested in the normal Undertale experience, I’m also more than happy to take you through one of the fan-made AUs instead! Do you like Underswap, Storyshift, Underfell, Flowerfell, or something like that? You can go through those universes instead and either befriend or wipe out the people there.

My only requirement for you are to not do really short responses (no need to be novella unless you want to, but I’d like more than 1-3 sentences) and for you to be at least 18 (sorry, I just don’t want to rp with non-adults).
