Meme/Macro To understand why mods were added, you should try the vanilla game first, change my mind

At least play the vanilla game for a little bit to feel what it's like before, then you can appreciate it more with what the mods add to it after!

You will get a sense of appreciation of how modders improve on things, you wouldn't know if you didn't try it beforehand

No, anybody can answer that question.

The answer is: if you haven't tried the base game, you have no way of knowing if the modded game is actually the way you'll enjoy the game to the fullest.
