At least play the vanilla game for a little bit to feel what it's like before, then you can appreciate it more with what the mods add to it after!

You will get a sense of appreciation of how modders improve on things, you wouldn't know if you didn't try it beforehand

To this day mentioning seemless coop, which just allows you to play with a friend in a sensible way, is banned in the Elden Ring sub.

Some ppl get really worked up about others playing a more convenient version of the game.

I would recommend anyone to download seemless coop right away if they want to play with friends, I certainly did.
