Bootleg shirt for Jalen Brunson in the style of old Adidas player shirts, with the NBA Finals patch on the front and the circular NYK logo on the back. I don't think Nike makes orange Knicks player shirts, as I've only ever seen them in blue (Adidas sold blue, orange, white, black, and green for KryptoNate). That’s an absurd shooting quarter.

Their best 3-point quarter: also Game 3, 2Q — 6/9 (66.7%).
Spurs’ worst shooting quarter: Game 2, 2Q:
4/21 FG = 19.0%
2/10 from three = 20.0%
eFG%: 23.8%.
But if we’re looking specifically at the Knicks’ defense, Game 3’s 4Q is even more dramatic:
Spurs: 6/21 FG = 28.6%
1/9 from three = 11.1%
Knicks: 7/27 themselves, so it wasn’t a great offensive quarter.

The Knicks essentially won that quarter through defense rather than shooting.
And Game 4’s 4Q is probably the most useful quarter for your original question:
Knicks: 12/20 FG = 60.0%
6/10 3P = 60.0%
Spurs: 4/19 FG = 21.1%
3/14 3P = 21.4%

So if you’re trying to identify the single most dominant Knicks quarter, I’d rank them:

The distinction is important: G3 2Q was their best pure shooting quarter, while G4 4Q was their best combined shooting + defensive quarter.

And the quarter data confirms the remarkable reversal:
1Q: Spurs 15/23 (65.2%), Knicks 5/17 (29.4%)
2Q: Spurs 13/24 (54.2%), Knicks 10/20 (50.0%)
3Q: Spurs 4/20 (20.0%), Knicks 9/21 (42.9%)
4Q: Spurs 4/19 (21.1%), Knicks 12/20 (60.0%)
So Game 4’s 4Q absolutely was the Knicks’ best combined quarter: they shot 60% FG and 60% from three, while holding San Antonio to 21.1% FG and 20% from three. They won the game 107–106 after coming back from 29 down.

Hey Knicks fans! Congrats on the 2026 NBA Championship! It has to be one of the most well-deserved championships in history. After watching the Knicks pull it all off, I decided to follow a childhood dream of creating a complete documentary for a sports franchise and thought the Knicks would be absolutely perfect! I am a Suns fan and thus don't have as much will to make this sort of video haha.

I recorded and created the audio already for this project and it is running at about 1 hour and 16 minutes so far but I think it covers a huge portion of Knicks history. I have fact checked this a few times but there are just SO many details here that it is very likely that I missed some key points and/or gotten some facts just plain wrong. I have a great respect for this great franchise and want to ensure that I do it justice!

I am looking for any Knicks fans who are interested in listening to the audio and letting me know their thoughts and/or correcting some inconsistencies here. I have plans to turn this into a youtube video though I lack editing skills (that is a different conversation).

If any of you are interested in listening to an audio documentary on the complete history of this great franchise, please send me a DM! I don't want to post that link here.

Also, I am aware of some audio bugs and will be fixing them. This is mostly about the content itself.

I will be honest, despite being a fan of the Knicks my whole life, I’ve barely bought any Knicks merch. I’ve only ever owned a shirt or two. But after seeing us win the title, I just had to do a shopping spree. I could’ve bought way more, but I’m a college student so there’s only so much I can buy.
