On July 9th, I made eye contact over and over with a pretty girl working at Indigo. She came up and asked if I needed help, but I got nervous and said “I’m just looking around.” I immediately went upstairs, asked for receipt paper, and wrote her a note with my number. When I came back down, her shift was over. I spent weeks trying to find her again and wrote this track while searching. Finally handed her the note weeks later (after I made the song)... she never called, I wrote a cool song tho, and I hope you guys can relate to it.

I originally wanted to release it on August 29th for Michael’s birthday, but at the very last minute I decided to re-record it because I wasn’t completely happy with my performance.

It meant releasing it a little later than planned, but I felt it was more important to put extra time and care into the tribute rather than rush it just to meet the date.

Quiero agradecerles algo que para muchos puede parecer poco, pero para mí lo es todo.

Estos días vi que más de 12 personas me han escuchado en Spotify. Sé que no es una cifra enorme, pero honestamente pensé que seguiría en cero. Le pongo mucho empeño a cada sonido, a cada ritmo, y ver que al menos 12 almas se detuvieron a escuchar lo que hago, me confirma que estoy avanzando, aunque sea un paso pequeño.

Este proyecto es demasiado especial para mí, es como si fuera mi hijo. Es donde guardo todo mi existencialismo terrorífico y crudo.

Saber que gente de otro continente me ha escuchado me voló la cabeza. Que mi perturbación haya cruzado el mar y haya llegado tan lejos, ya hace que todo valga la pena.

Seguiré buscando más sonidos, más ritmos, más perturbación. Y últimamente he estado explorando algo un poco más movido en lo rítmico, sin perder nunca mi base, que es el terror existencial.

Gracias por escuchar, por darle play y por ser parte de este inicio.
