Misc owing to recent events, presenting the kpop group compass

I dislike none of them because it's not worth my time to (Yes that includes NJZ). But here's my observation of all relevant groups off the top of my head not counting disbanded groups or groups that JUST debuted. If I missed any group/you disagree with placement please lmk!

Also if I could add a 3rd side that's "Liked/Hated on IG" I would.

it's not like they did anything that bad, but you see more ppl complaining abt them than saying good things

but that's what I picked up on, could be wrong!

specially when it comes to their more recent comebacks tbh

They've always kind of been disliked here somehow, especially Bang Chan and Hyunjin.

Chris is the prime example of kpop reddit making EVERYTHING an idol does an issue (encouraging parasocialism). Hyunjin I feel like is one of those people who get dunked on simply because he's good looking.

Now guess who my biases are 😭

I am so confused. I am a stay and although I do see the occasional haters, I never realised how bad it was. I actually had more issues with "stays" badmouthing other members like Changbin or Seungmin for bullshit reasons. I have never seen Hyunjin hate, that's so insane to me. Guess I just stick to the good part of stayville and stay away from drama.

The music has always been hated but more now than before. And also one of them had that scandal a few years back, which is most people's "objective" reason to hate them. People in general have become more hostile in recent years, doubly so for K-pop fans, and when a group's fans react emotionally/illogically to outsiders' criticism it just inspires more criticism and, separately, more hate.

Personal anecdote: I do not hate them. I just can't stand the music.
