Discussion UNFUCK EVERYTHING. ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF IT, ENJOYED THE RUNBACK, THE DUO BOSS, THE SILVER KNIGHTS, THE BIG KNIGHTS, THE ARCHER, EVEN THE TITANITE DEMON NEXT ROOM, the dp too

I wasn’t hollowed, had 10 flasks, used a +10 claymore, Silver Knight Armor Set, Hollow Soldier Shield +1, Ring of Steel Protection, Havel’s Ring and some green blossoms.

I did activate the Bonefire in the castle.

My problem with the archer is that he sniped me while running from the giant knights when I was low on health.

10/10, can’t wait for NG+

Edit:
These were my stats
Vit: 20
Att:12
End:28

Int:10
Faith:8

Edit 2: Sorry for my language in the previous post

So much character progression in 3h.

u/e2-woah Jul 16 '26

Gtfo

u/_vvilczy_ Jul 16 '26

Hm, you again? What is it? Our futures are murky. Let's not be too friendly, now.

u/abdulrahmanibrahim0 Jul 16 '26

They grow up so fast 🥹

u/PKblaze Jul 16 '26

NG+? Buddy, you've gotta go and get your life ruined by some of the most shambolic level design of all time. Seethes pit of a thousand falls, the bone zone, and molten cheese hell.

u/dylzim Jul 16 '26

This is like a painting in words. Beautiful.

u/Mynky Jul 16 '26

Wonder have they done the painted world yet?!

u/bigwhaleshark Jul 16 '26

It's sad that new players can't get their retinas damaged by the lava anymore.

u/Foreign-Dig8695 Jul 16 '26

Why? I can, I play the original

u/AJ_Dali Jul 16 '26

Switch players still can.

u/Craimasjien Jul 16 '26

Can’t wait for OPs review of bed of chaos.

u/AirPortlessman Jul 16 '26

it's what separates dark souls players from normal people

u/BeeHonest94 Jul 16 '26

Might be my favourite update title in this sub yet

u/hypermbeam Jul 16 '26

The dp too? 🤨📸

u/aviasvr Jul 16 '26

Don’t judge

u/BismuthCommun Jul 16 '26

You didn't give up, congratulations ! You didn't have the easiest stats for this fight, so double congratulations !

u/nNoseYak_ Jul 16 '26

welcome to lordran buddy. ornstein and smough are fun huh? did you fight Super Ornstein or Even Fatter Smough?

u/Bakura-360 Jul 16 '26

never ever, ever, EVER, one hand the Claymore, freaking mongrel, this weapon is a delicacy, one of the finest across all land, and it's meant to be two handed, but commoners like you wouldn't understand.

Begone with you, an enemy of my blade thou hast become.

u/CrownLexicon Jul 16 '26

Nah, use it as needed. 1 handed for sweeping, horizontal strikes, or 2 handed for narrow, vertical strikes. The tool is best utilized when making full use of its move set

u/THE_ANONYMOUS619 Jul 16 '26

Learnt that the hard way, 2 handed it most of the fight except when I got cornered

u/KPalm_The_Wise Jul 16 '26

Awful take, I LOVE the 1 handed poke, and especially how fast it comes out after an R1.

So many great combos.

Against the Anor Londo giants though 2 handed slaps

u/Bakura-360 Jul 16 '26

combos dweeb, you cannot fathom the awesomeness of carrying a blade with two hands, neither do you deserve to withhold that much aura to begin with.

u/plolock Jul 16 '26

ZWEIHANDER OR SCRAM

u/vc0ke Jul 16 '26

Dumb

u/Jerethdatiger Jul 16 '26

u/letstrythatagain-_- Jul 16 '26

Yesssssss. Feed me even more!

u/Wikiwikiwa Jul 16 '26

You've finished the best part of dark souls. Retire in glory, or continue and Understand.

u/gajodavenida Jul 16 '26

You just needed to vent, it's part of it. Glad you got through it, lad

u/Gamerpsycho Jul 16 '26

You got gud. Keep at it undead.

u/vc0ke Jul 16 '26

Save ng+ for after darks souls 2. After that play ng+. Skip dark souls 3 and do a new character on ds2.

u/Rombledore Jul 16 '26

you can do it Skeleton!

u/Witch_King_ Jul 16 '26

Make sure you do the DLC before NG+. It is somewhat easy to miss.

u/idkprobablyanything Jul 16 '26

How the turn tables

u/PLB3Rnn Jul 16 '26

Bonefire

u/Proper_Math1653 Jul 16 '26

You remind me of a young me trying to beat O&S on NG+ for the first time
I almost quit the game lol

u/activ8d_my_Trap_card Jul 16 '26

Just curious, did you never realise you could run around to take out the archer with no additional resistance? Or did that take too long, or something?

u/6thBornSOB Jul 17 '26

Welcome back, skeleton

u/Toon_Nik Jul 17 '26

Nice! I'm at the same point in my first playthrough, just spent a few hours using Anor Londo to rapidly level and upgrade weapons/armour before going on, basically just savouring the feeling of mastering the place. Don't you dare go hollow!

u/mfluder63 Jul 16 '26

It was karma farming after all.

u/UncaringBuffalo Jul 17 '26

The Silver Knight Archer's Arrow knows where it is, because the Silver Knight Archer's Arrow knows where it isn't
