Discussion UNFUCK EVERYTHING. ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF IT, ENJOYED THE RUNBACK, THE DUO BOSS, THE SILVER KNIGHTS, THE BIG KNIGHTS, THE ARCHER, EVEN THE TITANITE DEMON NEXT ROOM, the dp too
I wasn’t hollowed, had 10 flasks, used a +10 claymore, Silver Knight Armor Set, Hollow Soldier Shield +1, Ring of Steel Protection, Havel’s Ring and some green blossoms.
I did activate the Bonefire in the castle.
My problem with the archer is that he sniped me while running from the giant knights when I was low on health.
10/10, can’t wait for NG+
Edit:
These were my stats
Vit: 20
Att:12
End:28
Str:24
Dex:15
Res:12
Int:10
Faith:8
Edit 2: Sorry for my language in the previous post

NG+? Buddy, you've gotta go and get your life ruined by some of the most shambolic level design of all time. Seethes pit of a thousand falls, the bone zone, and molten cheese hell.

It's sad that new players can't get their retinas damaged by the lava anymore.

never ever, ever, EVER, one hand the Claymore, freaking mongrel, this weapon is a delicacy, one of the finest across all land, and it's meant to be two handed, but commoners like you wouldn't understand.
Begone with you, an enemy of my blade thou hast become.
•
u/CrownLexicon Jul 16 '26
Nah, use it as needed. 1 handed for sweeping, horizontal strikes, or 2 handed for narrow, vertical strikes. The tool is best utilized when making full use of its move set
•
u/THE_ANONYMOUS619 Jul 16 '26
Learnt that the hard way, 2 handed it most of the fight except when I got cornered
•

Awful take, I LOVE the 1 handed poke, and especially how fast it comes out after an R1.
So many great combos.
Against the Anor Londo giants though 2 handed slaps

combos dweeb, you cannot fathom the awesomeness of carrying a blade with two hands, neither do you deserve to withhold that much aura to begin with.

You've finished the best part of dark souls. Retire in glory, or continue and Understand.

Save ng+ for after darks souls 2. After that play ng+. Skip dark souls 3 and do a new character on ds2.

I almost quit the game lol

Just curious, did you never realise you could run around to take out the archer with no additional resistance? Or did that take too long, or something?

Nice! I'm at the same point in my first playthrough, just spent a few hours using Anor Londo to rapidly level and upgrade weapons/armour before going on, basically just savouring the feeling of mastering the place. Don't you dare go hollow!

The Silver Knight Archer's Arrow knows where it is, because the Silver Knight Archer's Arrow knows where it isn't

So much character progression in 3h.
