It's a great vibe don't get me wrong but I think some people do too much I mean buying your favourite trams jersey is okay cuz obviously we didn't qualify but painting your house ,your car ,making 50 foot flags of a foreign country and showing it more love than we show for our country at any given is actually pretty lame. I know we don't have any accomplishments in sports that we can boast about but maybe if we showed this kind of support to our archery team they would've made it too the Olympics because we actually have a good one but our most promising talent left cuz he couldn't make a living out of it. In the next Olympic our cricket team will likely participate from Asia let's support them and also support the other sports that have good chances at making it there.

For those who are not up to date on this, the BCCI (Indian Cricket Board) forced one of the teams in the Indian Premier League to release Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustifizur Rahman despite being selected in the IPL auction. This came after growing public anger in India against Bangladesh and threats to disrupt or protest matches being played with Mustifizur Rahman playing.

In response, the Bangladesh Cricket Board has requested its matches in the T20 World Cup should be relocated, likely to Sri Lanka, where Pakistan's matches are also scheduled after tensions with India. With one month to go until the World Cup, it's very possible the ICC refuses to accommodate Bangladesh's request. In that case, should the Bangladesh Cricket Board reverse its decision and decide to play matches in India or should they stand firm even if it means potentially being disqualified or removed from the competition?

In terms of price, they all seem to be the same, though all OTT platforms seem to have a delay compared to their TV counterpart. Toffee, Robi Binge, Airtel and a few others are the ones I've come across. I'd like to know which one of them has the least delay.

How well known to modern Bangladeshi football fans is legendary defender Monem Munna?

I randomly recalled reading a newspaper tribute to late Monem Munna in an English daily sometime during 2007-2010 when I was visiting my hometown in West Bengal. It was likely one of the English dailies distributed in Bengal.

It spoke at great length about his achievements at East Bengal winning multiple Calcutta Football League titles and prior to that in Bangladeshi football where he was once the most expensive transfer ever for domestic giants Abahani and won multiple league and cup titles. He was also a part of Bangladesh's first ever international trophy winning squad in 1995 Burma tournament.

The article was very elaborate, even touching on his numerous health struggles and untimely demise. Apparently die hard Bangladeshi football fans still regard him as one their history's 3 greatest ever players. There is apparently an address in Bangladesh named in his honour.

The size of the newspaper tribute in an Indian daily struck me as to what his stature may have been among Indian and Bangladeshi football community in his prime.

I mean, staying on in public memory or at least journalist memory years after passing and as a centre back playing in pre internet era is not very common. He also retired rather young probably before he turned 30. I just found a link in Bengali feting him as being adored more abroad than in Bangladesh.

So any of you who are familiar with him or followed some part of his career - do share your memories or views on what made him such a legendary player.

Most of my friends who are into sports started when they were way younger like at least since they were 12 or something. I have a friend who's really good at karate like extreeeeemely good at it and he started pretty young too. Im into art and music and plan on joining art and guitar classes in 2026 after ssc, but i also want to get into a hobby that includes physical activities. Soo yeah i wanna learn a sport really bad.
