Politics/রাজনীতি অভ্যুত্থানের পরে জামাতের আমলনামা
১৯৭১ সালে জামায়াতের নৃশংসতা ও অপরাধ একটি ঐতিহাসিক সত্য। নব্বইয়ের দশকে যারা শিবিরের ভয়াবহতা দেখেছেন, তারাও জানেন তারা জাশি কী জিনিস। কিন্তু নতুন প্রজন্মের অনেকের মধ্যেই একটি ভ্রান্ত ধারণা তৈরি হয়েছে যে জামায়াত-শিবির নাকি এখন অনেক পরিবর্তিত। প্রশ্ন হলো, বাস্তবে কি সত্যিই তাই? উদাহরণ হিসেবে ধরা যাক, জামায়াতের একটি বহুল প্রচলিত প্রচারণা যে তারা সৎ লোকের শাসন দেবে, চাঁদাবাজি, দুর্নীতি, দখলবাজি কিংবা অপরাধে জড়াবে না। ধর্মের নামে এই প্রচারণা বাস্তবে কতটা সত্য? খুব দূরে যেতে হয় না; বরং ৫ আগস্টের পর জামায়াতের অপকর্মগুলোর দিকে একটু তাকালেই বাস্তব চিত্র স্পষ্ট হয়ে ওঠে।
শত শত অপরাধের মধ্য থেকে উপরে ২৪টি আলাদা করে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। খবরের সূত্রগুলোও নিচে দেওয়া হলো। এসব অনেক বিষয়ে বিএনপির অপকর্মও আলাদাভাবে তুলে ধরা যায়। কিন্তু একটি বিষয় খেয়াল করা জরুরি যে জামায়াত কীভাবে চতুরতা ও মুনাফেকির মাধ্যমে নিজেদের অপরাধ আড়াল করে এমন একটি ভান ধরে যে তারা খুবই সাধু। বাস্তবে তা মোটেও সত্য নয়, এবং এই ভণ্ডামি তুলে ধরাই এই পোস্টের মূল উদ্দেশ্য। বিএনপি এবং অন্য কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের অপরাধ ছোট করা কোনভাবেই উদ্দেশ্য নয়। এখানে আরেকটি বিষয় লক্ষণীয় - বিএনপির মতো জামায়াতের তৃণমূলে এত বিপুল সংখ্যক কর্মী ও সংগঠন নেই, এবং তারা কখনোই রাষ্ট্রক্ষমতায় যায়নি। তাই শুধু অপরাধের সংখ্যা দিয়ে বিচার না করে অনুপাত এবং যেসব এলাকায় জামায়াত শক্তিশালী (যেমন চট্টগ্রামের সাতকানিয়া), সেসব জায়গায় তাদের কর্মকাণ্ড দেখলে বাস্তব চিত্রের একটি প্রকৃত ধারণা পাওয়া যায়।
দিন শেষে বলতেই হয় যে বাংলাদেশের কোনো রাজনৈতিক দলই ভালো নয়। চাঁদাবাজি, দুর্নীতি, দখলবাজি এসব কমবেশি সব রাজনৈতিক দলেরই সমস্যা। জামায়াতের এসব সমস্যা তো আছেই, তার ওপর রয়েছে ১৯৭১ সালের দায়, ধর্মীয় ফ্যাসিবাদ, নারীদের দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণির নাগরিক হিসেবে দেখার মানসিকতা এবং অগণতান্ত্রিক আচরণ। সবকিছু মিলে যা ভয়াবহ মাত্রা যোগ করেছে।
তারপরও নতুন প্রজন্মের একটি অংশ শিবিরকে ভোট দিয়েছে, এবং আসন্ন নির্বাচনেও অনেকে জামায়াত বা তাদের সহযোগী সংগঠন এনসিপিকে ভোট দেবে এই যুক্তিতে যে দলটি নাকি “অন্যদের চেয়ে ভালো”। এই ধারণা যেমন অযৌক্তিক, তেমনি হাস্যকর। আবেগে ভরপুর কিন্তু যুক্তিতে দুর্বল ডিজিটাল নতুন প্রজন্মকে বলার তেমন কিছু নেই। তথ্যগুলো তুলে ধরলাম, এতটুকুই আমার কাজ। বাকি সিদ্ধান্ত আপনারা নিজেদের বিবেক ও বিচারবুদ্ধি অনুযায়ী নেবেন। দেখেন যেটা ভালো মনে হয়। তবে ইরানের ইতিহাস এবং বর্তমান একটু পড়াশোনা করে নিয়েন, স্বৈরাচার হাসিনাকে তাড়ানো যত সহজ ছিল, ধর্মীয় ফ্যাসিস্ট তাড়ানো এত সহজ হবে না এতটুকু অনেক আত্মবিশ্বাসের সাথে বলতে পারি।

শুনলাম ওরা নাকি ফেরেস্তা, বেহেস্তের টিকিট বিক্রি করছে? ”৭১রে শুধু ইসলাম রক্ষার জন্য লক্ষ লক্ষ কাফের হত্যা করে পাকির পক্ষ নিয়েছিল?

দুঃখজনক হলেও সত্য যে, জামাত শিবিরের গুণগ্রাহীর বর্তমানে অভাব নেই এই দেশে। অনলাইন একটিভিস্টরাও জাশিকে অনেক সাপোর্ট করতেছে। ফেসবুকে ঢুকলে মনে হয় এই দেশের ৯৫ ভাগ মানুষ তাদের সাপোর্ট করে।

ইতিহাসকে এড়িয়ে “পরিবর্তন হয়েছে” বলা খুব সহজ, কিন্তু সেই পরিবর্তনের প্রমাণ কাজের মাধ্যমে দেখাতে হয়, কথার মাধ্যমে না। দুর্ভাগ্যজনকভাবে আমাদের রাজনীতিতে প্রায় সব দলই একই সমস্যায় ভোগে—চাঁদাবাজি, দখল, ক্ষমতার অপব্যবহার। তাই “অন্যদের চেয়ে একটু ভালো” এই যুক্তি দিয়ে চোখ বন্ধ করে কাউকে সমর্থন করা বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ নয়। সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার আগে সমালোচনামূলকভাবে দেখা, প্রশ্ন করা আর ইতিহাস থেকে শেখাই সবচেয়ে জরুরি।

First of all, the hadith you're referring to is from Sahih al-Bukhari, one of the most reliable hadith collections in Islam. But let's take a closer look at the context:
The Prophet Muhammad himself is quoted as saying that the time following the current hardship will be "worse than it." So even the Prophet acknowledged that more suffering was on the way! Does that sound like a just and merciful God to you?
And the fact that Anas bin Malik, a close companion of the Prophet, is simply telling people to "be patient" in the face of oppression and injustice - that just shows how Islam teaches submission and acceptance of even the worst circumstances.
Where is the justice, the compassion, the care for human dignity and rights that a true religion should embody? Instead, it's all about just accepting your fate and waiting for it to get even worse. Does that sound like a sane, rational belief system to you?
The Quran and hadith are full of such examples that contradict the very concepts of morality, ethics, and human rights. I can provide you with countless more verses and narrations that demonstrate how Islam is fundamentally flawed and incompatible with basic human decency. chuckles

These are only Jamat's crimes, there's a lot more cases which are occurring now by other parties and more. But still even altogether these don't match with the atrocities that BAL done alone while they were in power.

Its easy to say that the enemy we have defeated were worse than the enemy we have now. Its still just an excuse to turn a blind eye on jamat

No blind eye on Jamat, but none of these excuses the fact that BAL's fascist regime was any better. Jamat can be a threat to a diverse society but, BAL is a proven threat to the sovereignty of Bangladesh.

Did you saw what happen at Dhaka-15 yesterday? That a another whole story!
Female members of Jamaat went to a house asking for votes and requested voter ID card numbers and mobile numbers. When the homeowner challenged them, they physically shoved him. Subsequently, other people from the area who heard the argument told them not to ask for votes and asked them to leave. They went back and returned during Maghrib prayer time with approximately 100-150 Jamaat supporters, positioned themselves in front of the mosque, and beat one badly.
Seeing this, local residents gathered and chased the Jamaat supporters. Among them, 20-25 people took shelter inside the mosque. Then some people locked the mosque's scissor gate and informed the police. Meanwhile, another 100-150 Jamaat supporters, shouting "Narae Takbir," attacked with knives and machetes to free these people who trapped in the mosque. Immediately, local residents present there and army members arrested 2 people along with their knives. Then Jamaat leaders came, said "sorry," and took away the arrested and trapped supporters.
