Title says it all, we've had our first dog for 5 years and our second for 3. They've been inseparable and have not had a single problem in the entire 3 years.

I left the house for about 20mins, came back and as I knelt down on the floor, the old one latched on to the youngest and went off. I had to lock the oldest in the bedroom because she kept going back to attack her.

They've never once had an issue like this. They eat together, play together and sleep together.

Some additional info,

- our youngest is healing from a hernia repair at the moment

- both dogs didn't finish their food this morning. Which is typically unlike them.

- my partner and I are going through a breakup but are co habiting for the time being. Things are cordial but stress has been high

- our oldest has hip dysplasia which hasn't effected her much yet. Starting to see her being a little more stiff

Hi so i have a baby shih tzu of 11 months old(she turns a year next month), and im in a very desperate situation, i recently found out that she likely ate half of a chocolate chip cookie(homemade and 2 inches width and one inch in length), she weighs 12 pounds and my mom told me to give her two teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide(im assuming she got this from online since we didnt get this from a vet) , i told my mom that i can pay for the er expenses and even drive since i have a permit but unfortunately my mom refuses to let me go out to take her, im very concerned since its been three hours and she hasnt acted anything out of the ordinary. And i cant ask a family member to take me to take my dog because i can cover the fees since my mom wont let me. l dont know what to do since any other form of support is either behind a pay wall or backed up by AI and i dont want to do anything incorrect due to ai being known for being incorrect at times. If any of you guys could give me advice that would be great. 🫂 l sent this to the shih tzu subreddit already but im still worried.

So, we have a 6-month-old Golden Mountain Dog (Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog mix). Ever since he was a puppy, he's had many episodes of diarrhea. At the beginning it was only from time to time, but it got worse, to the point where we're getting up 5 to 6 times a night to take him out.

We went to the vet, and several tests were done. Fecal tests came back all negative; blood tests only showed a dysbiosis of the gastrointestinal system. We tried a new food for 3 weeks — no change. We tried another food — no change. We tried giving him only rice for a few days, then rice with boiled chicken, and we tried probiotics, both live ones and Purina ones. We've gotten to the point where even the vet doesn't know what to do, and he's going to consult a specialist.

The only thing that has worked is giving him Metronidazole — the first time for 5 days, and the second time for 10 days — but every time, about 48 hours after finishing the Metronidazole, the diarrhea comes back.

Honestly, we've been thinking about going the natural route and giving him things like meat, fish oil, boiled egg, and bones — but a complete diet, since he still needs to grow. There might be something in his food that his system doesn't tolerate.

I'm posting here as a last resort, hoping to get some answers — if you've seen something similar, and what worked in that specific situation.

All we want is to give our boy a happy and healthy life... but we're afraid of endangering his growth with all this diarrhea and the diet changes.

I have heard anecdotal claims that the recovery is easier and quicker.

Is that true and are there any downsides? (besides costs).

Are there situations where it is contraindicated?

Is it something you would recommend if the owner is ok with the added expense?

I am considering asking my vet if they know if its available in my area (for an otherwise healthy 5 year old, 5kg bitch). But I am curious about what the wider veterinary profession and the research have to say about the procedure.

my puppy ate a couple of vitamin 50000 d3 pills, we found some chewed but not opened, but cant find the other, shes about to be a year and is around 20 pounds, she also punctured an iron capsule but she is acting fine:((( im really worried, she seems fine other than some panting, she isnt spayed

My 10 year old girl recently had 15 teeth removed due to a combination of resorption and other problems. We noticed that one upper canine was visibly protruding lower than usual which led to us taking her to the vet and having dental x rays performed. These x rays showed more extensive damage than the canine we could see. At this point she was eating mostly a 100% diet of kibble (dry food). She didn’t show any behavioural changes, but I am sure she was hiding her pain.

Anyway, we proceeded with the 15 extractions as recommend by the vet. We bought her home and she immediately went to eat some kibble that we had accidentally left out. I guess she was really hungry but it felt like a positive sign. Anyway, I removed the kibble and made sure she had a soft food diet for the next 10 days. Recovery seemed smooth and after 10 days we took her back for a revision as requested by the vet. She doesn’t let her mouth be inspected (without sedation), so based on our behavioural report and feedback about her recovery, the vet was satisfied with her progress and told us to reintroduce kibble. We did, and she ate happily for approx 2 weeks.

I took my grandparents porch/farm cat in as he’s always been extremely social. He’s loved being a house cat and adjusted very well - he never was super watched so him drinking a ton of water he was noticed quickly.

He’s 17 years old with stage 2 kidney disease however because of age and dehydration I was told it looks more like stage 3. He’s currently about 7.5lbs and should be more like 9-10lbs.

As much as he’s social and lovely he’s never really been handled. And he won’t eat anything besides his old food (whiskas) and tuna flavoured wet food. Or tuna.

He’s impossible to pill - pets are motivating but food. Even tuna is not. So getting him to take anti-nausea is impossible.

For a month we’ve been able to do sub-q with pets and holding him but he progressively got worse. We are supposed to do 100-150 ml one day a week. But whenever he’s dehydrated I’m allowed to give more. The first week he has two at the vet and one by me later on then the once a week seemed fine. But by the 3rd or 4th he started fighting. And just wont relax. He escapes wraps. He doesn’t want pets with it anymore. He squirms so much I don’t think I could put him in a cat bag even. And quite frankly worried he’ll hurt himself and I don’t think we can go to the vet for this that often.

When he has fluids he never vomits and runs around the house playing all week. I don’t even feel he needs his anti nausea but when he doesn’t he vomits a lot (once a day). Lately I can only get 40 ml in on a good day and increasing the amounts of days with less liquid would be worse for him. He’s fighting it instantly.

He definitely drinks a ton from every bowl in the house which is in every room.

I am looking for suggestions because I can’t keep having a cat that to pill I have to hold down shove back hold mouth shut and stroke his throat while he is actively trying to scratch and thrash. Nor can I give fluids to a cat who will be happy to sit on you see you set everything up but then fight once the fluid is flowing - it’s warmed up first too.

He is so active when we have succeeded that I feel like he’s not ready to go. But if everything is a giant fight isn’t that going to just make him unhappy here? It’s hard to reward a cat with no more desire for food. And petting is only accepted after. He does bounce back to wanting attention in less than 5 minutes after hating me. But I’m not sure.

I don’t know what to do for him anymore I dislike him vomitting all over the house but we haven’t even successful in giving fluids for awhile and pilling twice a day he literally hates more than the fluids. We can’t get him to eat any kidney food only his life long food of whiskas. And tuna canned food (sometimes any brand but he’ll go off everything but once again whiskas tuna wet food which he’ll always eat a little of).

Has anyone had a cat develop urinary incontinence while taking Orbax (orbifloxacin)?

I have two cats currently taking Orbax for UTIs. Both have developed new leaking since starting it. One also became more lethargic and wobbly, with some apparent difficulty seeing.

Both cats have other health issues, so I’m not assuming Orbax is responsible, but the timing has me wondering.

Has anyone experienced urinary leakage or other unusual neurological symptoms with Orbax, and did they resolve after stopping or switching medications?

Hx: In 2021 occurrence of eosinophilic granuloma complex, had teeth pulled for resorption. In 2023 had urinary crystals, was given something to dilate his urethra and has not had any recurrence. Chronic constipation
Presenting: couple months of mild/moderately decreased appetite, was hiding in new places and more often. Pre-op labs normal.
8/20: had 4 teeth pulled, left with dissolvable sutures, and a script for 3 days onisor and 100mg gabapentin prescribed for q8-12hours. That night he ate happily.
8/21-8/24: gave gabapentin every 12+ hours. Cute dosing after 2 days due to concern for over sedation. ate little to no food, given a wide range of wet/puree/liquid options. He slept 95% day and hid persistently in the closet. Not being vocal. Still peeing. Had diarrhea x2. Mucus membranes moist. No scruff tenting.
8/24: brought back to surgery center for evaluation. Suture on left had popped open, no signed of infection, other sites healing well. Afebrile. Topical appetite stimulant applied. Redose of local anesthetic. Sent home with 3 doses of entyce to start that night
8/25-8/28: good appetite, starts to hide less. Diarrhea x 2.
8/29: starts meowing again, meow very quiet, and hoarse. asking for food but quantity eating tapering down again, eating about half baseline. Not hiding in closet anymore
Late week of 8/31: meow getting louder and more frequent but continued gravely quality as well as to purr. Now having very loud and audible swallow. Having very rare dry cough. No WOB, tachypnea or ill appearance. No mouth breathing.
This week: coughing a bit more frequently. Several times a day. Having head bobbing with loud swallow. No head bobbing outside of swallow. In a good mood, hanging out with me more, purring, making biscuits. Weight down to 15.0lbs. Continues to move his tongue around awkwardly a lot during/after eating, likely due to food getting stuck.

I don’t know if this is from being intubated but it seems odd it’s still ongoing and I don’t like that it’s progressing

My dog was spayed on Thursday today is day 4 yesterday she started licking it. She now has an ecollar but it started discharging light pink and then stopped should I clean it with anything

My 14 year old pit mix has had a tooth abscess for over two weeks.. She is on Rimadyl, Gabanentin, and Clavacillin.. I can't afford to have it removed.. I got denied for Care Credit, Scratch Pay.. I have not heard back or been denied financial help. (I live in the USA, and the places that provide help around me seem already swamped.) It is starting to get pretty large, she has cried quietly and briefly a few nights while rolling around in discomfort.. It would be a struggle to continue to afford medication and I think it is losing it's effectiveness.

She has anxiety issues, resource guarding, and can be aggressive towards strangers.. I am considering economic euthanasia.. Do you think that this situation may call for that? The window I have to decide is feeling very small.

Short history:
My dog has been having recurring skin problems for about a year. It initially started after she spent a couple of days at my father’s house last year. When she came back home, she had a few small bumps/welts on her skin, but they were not severe at the time.
She was otherwise doing well, and the problem remained relatively mild for some time. However, approximately two months ago, her skin condition suddenly became much worse, and she now has many lesions over a large portion of her body.
She also has what appears to be flaky skin/dandruff or irritation along the inner edges of her ears.
She has access to grass at home and had been doing fine with it before this started.
She is not spayed. Her last heat cycle was in May.
Diet:
We were told when we got her that she was allergic to chicken, so we have avoided chicken completely. She used to eat salmon-based kibble, but one veterinarian recommended changing her diet to meat.
Currently, she eats beef. We mix her food with beef broth and boiled beef without salt or seasonings. Her treats are also beef-based.

We have taken her to several veterinarians, but so far we haven’t been able to determine the underlying cause or get the condition resolved.
We previously saw a veterinarian who was supposed to be a dermatologist. We were told that a skin examination/testing could not be performed while she had active lesions and that we would have to wait until her skin was healthy. Because the condition has continued to worsen, we are now looking for another opinion.

Hello everyone. We have three cats total (one 5y called B, one 2y called F, one 5mo called P). We’ve been dealing with this on and off for about three months now, it’s been a stressful time.

I’ll try to keep it all in chronological order for the most part.

As a backstory, F had an intussusception surgery when he was 6 months old. He’s since done amazing, but it is relevant backstory.

We got the new cat in early July, and took our time acclimating her (P) to the two older boys (B and F). There was some hissing and light growling, but we kept her in a playpen and did supervised visits. All seemed to be going well.

A week later, F got into some yarn and ate it. Was completely my fault, we know he’s prone to eating things like that and I left it out. He ate breakfast, then vomited it all up with the yarn. To be safe, we still brought him to the vet, where they did x-rays, saw nothing, and sent him home with some medicine for his throat.

A few days later, he starts gagging every once in a while. Sometimes, some spit (clear liquid) would come out, sometimes just a dry heave. But this is different from normal vomiting - he does not heave or crouch low to the ground. It’s a very instantaneous gag, seemingly out of nowhere. This was accompanied by general lethargy and lacking appetite. Still nibbled his food though.

Anyways, we go back to the vet and they can’t find anything still. They recommended getting and endoscopy, but they didn’t have that capability, so we went to another vet.

The new vet wanted to cover their bases and didn’t perform the endoscopy, but hospitalized him overnight and gave him medication. He spiked a fever overnight, which caused a bit of a scare, but some ultrasounds and more x-rays showed he had mild pancreatitis. He’s also reacted poorly to a specific pain medication in the past - this could have been the same thing. Eventually his fever went down and we took him home.

He was good for about a week (no gagging) and then he started to do it again. We went back to the second vet, and his temperature was high again. They did mention that could be from stress/the car ride. They gave him some fluids and had us monitor him again.

At this point, we were a bit frustrated and unsure. Knowing that the kitten was new, there was a belief that it could be something viral. We had him on a few medicines for his digestion and throat.

Meanwhile, B (the eldest cat) started doing the same thing at home, but much less often and less violently. This further cemented the belief that it was something viral from the kitten.

We were then quoted a very high price for a viral panel test, so we decided to go to a different vet. There, they did their own ultrasound, and saw a small foreign body in his stomach. They recommended doing an endoscopy, and we said yes (which is what we went to the second vet for in the first place).

While performing the endoscopy, they realized that the foreign body was his pill from earlier (I truly assumed it would have dissolved by then), however they also found a small polyp in his stomach.

They then recommended surgery to remove/test the polyp since he was already under anesthesia. We said yes.

While in surgery, the vet noticed a (to quote her) TON of hair, all throughout the digestive tract. This of course prompted us thinking this has all just been a really bad case of overgrooming. She also “flushed” everything out of his system.

So anyways, we bring him home and have the surgery suit/cone on him, and recovers very well. He got all kinds of medication, in case it was something bacterial, viral, or anything else. They also gave him a laxative gel for the hair clearing. They also recommended getting some for B since his symptoms were similar. This, along with a diet change from Purina Pro Plan to Hill’s hairball control food, cleared up his symptoms totally.

The viral tests came back, and were negative for everything tested for.

Once F was cleared for activity, we let him out with B and P. At his two week checkup, they cleared him to have the cone off and his stitches removed. He groomed a lot that day (as expected) and had a pretty massive hairball that night. The vet recommended switching him to the hairball care food as well, so we slowly started doing that too.

It’s now been about 4 weeks post-op, and he spent today gagging again, for the first time since the operation. He’s eating normally, seems active as normal, and I’m going to call the vet in the morning for more advice but figured I’d post here as well.

Is this just a chronic thing we’re going to have to deal with? The timing of everything makes it very difficult to pin down. Can stress from the new kitten be causing it? If so, he’s been active and playing with her for two weeks since having the stitches removed, and only started doing it now. I’d really hate to have to rehome the kitten, especially now that they have (seemingly) bonded.

If it’s hair issues, why is it just starting now? He’s never really had hairballs before, so I assume it all went through to his poop. Also, will it simply go away with the laxatone/hairball food/deshedding?

I will mention that we haven’t received the biopsy results from the polyp or throat yet. It’s possible it’s something from that too.

Apologies for the long winded post. It’s been a very hectic and expensive few months. Any advice or general suggestions would be very appreciated. All three vets that we’ve seen seem to be guessing (which is fine, I recognize it’s a very difficult thing to diagnose a cat), but we’re hoping to have some type of closure at some point. The stress is taking its toll, that’s for sure.

TL:DR - Cat is gagging and spitting up clear liquid, likely due to hair ingestion. Still eating fine and pooping. Lots of tests and procedures done but nothing in terms of a diagnosis. Trying to get some type of advice or hear from someone who’s gone through/seen something similar.

My 7-year-old female cat has had recurrent struvite bladder stones and I’m trying to figure out what else we can do to prevent them/get rid of them.

About a year+ ago, she developed bladder stones and had surgery to remove them. The stones were confirmed to be 100% struvite. She has been on Hill’s c/d prescription urinary food (both wet and dry) ever since.

Recently, she developed another handful of small bladder stones despite being on the c/d. Her vet did a urine culture, which was negative, so these appear to be sterile struvite stones rather than infection-related. We’re monitoring for now, because I’d rather not put her through another surgery. We’re in the process of switching her to the Royal Canine’s S/O just to try something new.

Anyone have creative suggestions?? We’re desperate to avoid another surgery, the first one was so tough. Our vet doesn’t appear to have any other solutions, but I can’t imagine my cat is the first to deal with this…

Hi everyone. my cat is 2 years old male domestic medium haired cat that ive rescued from street when he was 4 weeks old. we have bonded incredibly. he is a cuddle bug who only playful bite me very gently and love to be around me.

recently ive moved into this amazing granny flat just me and my cat, he had settled in well in first few weeks, super playful and loving, basking in the sunshine everyday. he had been happy here as we have shared my old home with two other cat who he didnt get along with, so he finally has his own space. (a bit of info on the house, we moved into a fully furnished place but i made sure its as clean as possible before we moved in as previous tenant had a cat as well. i deep cleaned every furniture and made sure nothing dangerous was left behind.
but recently i have noticed alot of unusual behaviour from him, he started to bite me immediately after asking for cuddles, dashing off hiding whenever im nearby and keep hiding somewhere, and started to attack me in my sleep when he had never shown any aggression towards me before, its all very very strange. i have not changed my routine or acted any differently towards him, i do not know what could have caused him to change and i dont know how to fix it.
and he had been grooming himself a bit more recently, it seem like hes feeling a bit itchy and ive cleaned the house daily to make sure there isnt dust or something that could cause it. i am very careful with any products or anything that could be bad for him, i do alot of researches and take preventative measures to ensure hes always safe and healthy.
last night he started to sneeze randomly and grooming himself very excessively. i also just found a hole underneath couch that goes into couch backing space i dont know how to explain but basically the fabric on bottom was torn open and he can climb in, i found it after he went missing for hours and i couldn't find him until i looked underneath and saw the tip of his tail. i highly suspect sneezing and itchiness comes from the couch cause i dont know whats in there and how clean it is, but i cannot explain the other behaviours. (i am boarding up the hole tonight so he wont be able to get in anymore i am doing this in case of emergency if he get scared and hide in there i wont be able to reach him for his safety so i decided to do this) i have a video of his excessively grooming and some sneeze if it could help someone figure out on here?

i have spent last few days checking every part of the house, watching him and making sure there is nothing obvious that is triggering this behaviour and im at loss.
im also very low on budget as i recently moved and havent begun at my new job here. i wanted to reach out and see if i can exhaust every options and ideas before i have to spend thousands at the vet. my heart breaks seeing him not being himself and i want to help him.

I noticed yesterday my maltipoo (Lexi) (9yrs/9lbs) was extremely lethargic. She looked like she was fading in and out (like she was drunk) and would not move or eat. We immediately rushed to the Vet ER and her eye pressure got a reading of 70 mm Hg.

At this point, one drop Lantanoprost was administered and the next reading was 60 mm Hg. I was sent home with Dorzolamide eye drops where I would administer it every 2 hours for the next 24 hours. Lexi’s energy looked better the next but I could tell the eye was was severely red.

I visited the ER vet again to have Lexi examined again and her eye pressure reading remains at 60 mm Hg. The Dorzolamide didn’t do anything. An extra 3 drops of Latanoprost is administered and the eye pressure levels at 60 mm Hg after an hour of waiting.

What’s happening? I can’t see an Ophthamologist until tomorrow and I want to know what’s happening with my baby.

Dog, Female, 26lbs, beagle mix, 4y/o, spayed

My dog has had diarrhea since Friday evening. After fasting her for 24 hours, I switched to chicken and rice diet (1 1/3 c. rice, 80g boiled chicken breast).

She is definitely more sleepy than usual, however she:

- has high interest in playing (e.g. tug o war, keep away)
- is up for long walks (1 mile + )
- is eating her dinner and drinking water
- is still interested in random food on the street

Yesterday, she expelled a drop or two of bright red blood when pooping and this morning she threw up. Her interest in playing and running around has me confused on what to do. Does she need to go to the emergency vet or can she wait to see her regular vet in the morning?

My senior cat (16-17 years old) wasn’t eating much and hiding from us a lot so we brought her to the vet. we did some tests and she was diagnosed with FPV (although when the vet did the test, the test showed a result that was faint, nonetheless still positive).

The vet prescribed some antibiotics and vitamins but also recommended we do Retromad1 treatment which was 2 injections a day for 10 days (based on Retromad1 official site). For the first few days we leave her at the vet for them to monitor her symptoms (to see if she eats) and they did the shots. A day after that her appetite was restored.

The treatment is quite expensive and we feel like its very stressful for the cat to go back and forth to the vet to get a lot of time for the shots. The vet says our options was A) continue the treatment course for 10 days, or B) stop the course after no more signs of symptoms (back to regular appetite, no pukes or diarrhoea), but risk the symptoms to come back.

The vet said they had success with A (like 8 out of 10 cats) however we can be sure with B. Our cat is no longer exhibiting much of the symptoms, (lymph nodes are back to normal size, shes eating a lot now, no longer running from us). I really dont want to torture her remaining years with frequent visits to the vet. Any vets with experience using Retromad1? Should we stop the course or keep on going?

Hello all! Want to preface this post by letting you know that I will be booking a vet apt regardless - but l am very curious what you guys think this is.

My 8 yr old neutered male cat has abnormal fur loss on his belly. I first noticed it two weeks ago where it looked like someone had shaved around his nipples - then noticed his belly hair getting more sparse. There is clear circular patch of fur missing to his L inner hind leg as well that you can see in the photo

I'm hoping it's a simple skin infection? The circular pattern makes me hope it's just ringworm.. although I can't really detect any irritation or redness.

Definitely not an overgrooming issue and the area doesn't seem to be bothering him whatsoever. No other symptoms associated with this. Eating and drinking just fine.

Any ideas what this could be?!

Cat belly

Hi! What the title says, I was watching game changer and I see my cat Ranch(14 months) sprint out of the bathroom and start butt-scooting across everything. I picked him up and locked us both in the bathroom as tile is easier to clean then carpet.

I sat with him for about 1-3 minutes while he butt scooted around the time and saw that he has a cluster of my hairs, and poop were dangling from his bottom. I grabbed some toilet paper and pulled the whole ‘clump’ (it was more of a thread) from his butt. A hair ball did come out of it.

As I started to clean the mess, and I did he was licking himself for the majority, until a big-ass spider ran across the floor and he became much more interested in that. He lost the spider to under the couch, I finished cleaning the mess, but he has made it his home in the bathroom, and periodically licks his butt it is slightly more then normal, but I don’t know if that because he was cut by the hair or still has to poop and can’t or he’s really interested in that spider and spiders are his jam.

It is 1am so I don’t know if I should take him to the vet.

I did check his butt-hole and it is a little red in the middle but not the whole thing. He’s been acting a little jumpy in the sense of active but I don’t know if it’s he’s relieved or trying to mask his pain, or just frustrated about the spider.

I don’t know if this is relevant but 6 months back he did go into the vet throwing up but they said it was due to eating to fast and he was on some tummy meds for a bit. I know this is due to him eating my hair, but I just want to make sure that there wouldn’t be damage.

This is my first cat so I’m alittle concerned about this, and I’m worried if I sleep he will be good.

My cat has puked on and off for 2 months, the puke itself looks like undigested food mixed with bile, it can happen up to 1-3 times a week, i bought some digestion marked food and she got better didnt puke for 8 days but then suddenly started puking again, i have no clue since she still acts normal.

I have an vet appointment in 2 days where they will investigate but im so scared that shes seriously ill so i have anxiety and feel like im overdoing everything beacuse i want her to feel good

My roommates cat was diagnosed with a mild heart murmur as a young adult/kitten. Recently ive noticed he is breathing at about 20 breaths per 15 seconds or 80 per minute on a few occasions while laying down. Ive noticed many times that his breathing is much shallower and faster than my cats. He has also been acting more aggressive in a way I have never seen. I will snap my fingers and tell him to sit when he is acting up, and he will stare at me, then suddenly start panting aggressively before lunging at me. Ive also noticed that they shove him, smack him, push him, toss him, scruff him, and otherwise try to intimidate him or “be the bigger cat” through force. Im worried that this is causing him extreme stress that could be straining his heart. Hes never been super cuddly but he used to be sweet and has never been outright aggressive until recently. Today he bit me in the face when i picked him up. How can I explain to them that panting without exercise is not normal or ok? And what could this be saying about his health?

(I have been avoiding any physical confrontations like picking him up or moving him bc it seems to stress him out into what almost looks like a panic attack, but the roommates insist that he responds to force)

My cat (≈1 and half month old) was just diagnosed with panleukopenia and corona virus, so WBC are pretty low. The vet prescribed a bunch of medications for other potential problems but they prescribed Filgrastim for leukocytopenia through subcutaneous injection once a day. The problem is it's veryyy expensive per shot, and I'm already struggling financially because of the vet bills. Is there any alternative way to increase my kitty's WBC count?

Kitty currently has IV drip on our home since I cannot afford confinement in the hospital.

For additional context, I have already given multivitamins with iron to her for the past 6 days, although recent CBC shows it's still pretty low.

I'm not really looking for alternative medications since I know there's a rule against specific treatments here, perhaps what I mean is any changes I can do in food, water, etc?
