Has anyone ordered a Corbin seat? If so what options did you select, how did it come out and how much more comfortable is it than stock?

Took the ol’ girl camping a few hours from home. T Rex racing brackets and givi bags for $400 were well worth it.

I’ve rode Harley’s for years. I’ve owned a few street/sport bikes. Recently purchased a triumph trident and love it. My love for Harley’s has faded the last few years and life is changing directions. That being said I put both my triumph and Harley up for sale. I will be replacing both with other options.

Are you happy with your xsr900? Would you have gone a different route?

Yeah I got some ugly commuter bags for my water and lunchbox, and the seat beads so I don’t sweat my ass off.

So im getting that aux light but they told me they will be using a posi-tap. its a small pin that will basically puncture the wiring shield.

To me, it looks sketchy. i dont think this can handle a 160w lights. What do you think? Or am i overthinking that this is a common thing?

if not, at which point(kph/mph) do you shift for each gear?

Also, I need to add a QuadLock Brake/Clutch Mount but for the life of me cant identify from the photo which one is for the bolt that attaches to the handlebar. This is for MT09 but old posts here says its the same ?

I am going to do the best I can explaining what is going. My 2024 xsr900 is at the dealer and they are playing stupid.

When I am at a steady throttle no matter speed I get a "blipping/jerking" sensation as if the motorcycle is losing and gaining power. Sometime as a I try to accelerate it will lose power almost completely unless I rip the throttle in neutral.

The dealer has confirmed the problem. They are playing stupid like they don't know what to do. They wanted to take the clutch out, which is way out of the price range. I truly believe that it is a MAP sensor problem.

Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do to correct it?

Just joined the group. This is my bike, a 2019 gen 1. I bought it in 2023 and still have it.

I may have hit her too hard with the hoes in and around the inside of the frame and got some water someplace i shouldn't have? CEL on after washing the bike, no other work was done on it since it last ran. It runs fine now, no difference in performance or feel. Is it true i have to have an ODB reader to clear the light? I'd rather not take it to the dealer

Sharing my work in progress. This is inspired by another build here. Lot’s of trial and error but getting there. Im finalizing the fitment then I’ll send it off for painting.

I absolutely loved the first gen XSR900, but I know it has some major riding issues. I thought people were just overly critical as they are with every bike, but even I could feel how not planted it felt in the corners. I am thinking of slowly upgrading from my XSR700 which I LOVE visually, but the issue is that the new one where they fixed most of the issues... looks absolutely horrid. I don't know what it is, but something is off with the balance. I think the new bare frame and the small led headline just look odd. It looks super mid heavy.

Anyone has experience modding the bike to look good? I assume a headlight swap is mandatory for it to not look garbage, but what else?

Looking at selling my original XSR900 wheels. Converted my XSR900 into a GP with GP red wheels. Have my Original XSR900 heritage factory original spinforged wheels with original Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tires

Furka pass and the Belvedere spot

Shaved off about 1 1/2 inch off of the passenger section and added a gel seat base to the front. This is only part one of my re imagined tail section. I’m working on a rear cowl that plays to more of the radius’s of the tank, since I do not like the oem tail cover options. I’ll keep this thread updated as I work towards the custom tail cover but here is the rear in all its glory. Hoping to get some better photos this weekend

In case anyone was wondering how the Evotech Touring weight compares to OEM - 331g vs 205g. They are a little bulbous, but I didn't mind as I was going for function over form here.
