Help! First time play through

Upvotes

This game is fucking incredible. I’m in love.

I felt the need to say that before my question.

I’m level 22, and still learning new “basics” constantly. It’s a testament to the game. However, I’ve been focusing on I’d say probably 75% main quests. I’ve returned to Skellige to do some side quests before starting The Isle of Mists quest line and all the monsters here are level 30+. Is that because I’m rushing main quests and not focusing enough on sides? I’ve tried to only tackle main quests as I become the same level as they suggest, so didn’t think I was rushing, but when I see old sides I didn’t get around to like level 14 for example, I don’t want to go back and do them coz I feel like they’ll be too easy. I would have expected the mains to be a higher suggested level to sort of force me to grind sides if that makes sense.

Am I doing it wrong?!

Discussion Advice Leading Into Remaster

Upvotes

I’ve played and replayed the game many times. How are you all approaching the remaster + coming DLC combo?

Current save is NG+ finished both DLCs just hanging around Toussaint with a Euphoria build doing some contracts and playing gwent. Do I just scrap everything and start from the very beginning once the remaster is released? I wouldn’t mind it…

Something I noticed: The boy in the second-to-last photo ran off right after the screenshot to get more worms to fish for. I'm still amazed by that game to this day.

Discussion Your favorite immersion mods

Upvotes

Whats your Favorit mods to make the Witcher 3 more immersive?

For some time now I have planned to start another playthrough and with the new update I have got another reason to start it soon. (Or later if the mods need fixing).

This time though I want the full Witcher immersion experience - l. Even if it is frustrating sometimes. I’m talking: needing firewood for a campfire, needing the fire to rest at for skipping time, brewing potions etc and rain simply putting out a fire in the open, Potions etc needing some basic materials to refill… you get the point.

Not sure if this is going to be the best or the worst playthrough yet but I’m determined!

What immersion mods do you use? Which mods make the game more immersive and wich are not fitting in, in your opinion? What is your most beloved immersion mod that kinda annoys you sometime but you still wouldn’t miss it? Let me hear your thoughts!

Witcher This Game Is Amazing

I bought this game on sale for $5 at the heavy request of a friend. I hit 100 hours today and am just halfway through “Final Preparations” with both DLCs plus Songs of the Past once it is released to go. I may have picked the worst time to start it, but I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to give it a chance.

Help! Visual Glitches

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Had to delete the original post because various reasons and also because of that the video got shorter. But the problem still stands. This weird lightning glitch and black screen appearing the split second in cutscenes. And for the swords, I entered Novigrad in Lv10, still need to do Hattori's quest
