I finished bedazzling my jersey last week. I’m ready for home opener.

Maybe my brain is noodles, but I am having a difficult time deciphering the press release about Wild on Prime Video.

Up top, it’s “Prime Video is the exclusive streaming distributor in the Minnesota Wild local broadcast territory,” understood.

Second, it’s “The Minnesota Wild will launch Wild+, a team-owned and operated multimedia network, this season. Fans will be able to watch Wild games through multiple distribution platforms, including Prime Video, cable, satellite and over-the-air television.”

Does this mean that if you buy Wild+, you won’t need to get the prime add-on because the games will also be shown there? Will there be games exclusive to Wild+ that won’t be on Prime? Is Wild+ just a hub that will accumulate sources for Wild games - Prime, cable, etc.- but you’ll have to pay separately for each source? It’s too much for my brain and I feel like I’m missing something obvious.

I know there’s a lot up in the air because Wild+ hasn’t launched yet, but I’m unclear of the boundaries between the two and - most importantly - how much I’m being asked to spend to get access to Wild games. And yes, I am a prolific sailor of the seven seas, no need to suggest that.

I've been checking out some 25th anniversary jerseys on eBay recently and I'm skeptical of some of the listings based on the price, so I'm wondering if anyone could let me know of some good ways to tell if a jersey is authentic or not?

As of now, other than Filip Gustavsson recuperating from offseason hip surgery, Wild president of hockey operations and general manager Bill Guerin has said that everybody else is healthy for camp, which opens Sept. 16. So unless the Wild bring in a free agent or two on pro tryouts (Guerin said they’re still weighing that option), the Wild lineup is pretty much set.

Prospects Hunter Haight and Charlie Stramel have outside shots to snag a forward spot, but with 13 forwards all but locked in, they’d have to blow the team’s brass away.

And in a shortened camp, they can’t waste time.

The blue line, led by (they hope soon-to-be extended) Quinn Hughes, is back pretty much intact, with veteran Olli Maatta replacing Jake Middleton on the third pair.

Jesper Wallstedt will have to hold down the fort for the first month while Gustavsson rehabs, with Calvin Pickard getting spot starts during a 15-game opening month.

He was doing autographs... Which I don't really care about to be honest, but the line wasn't long, so I brought my 4 yo daughter up and tried to get her to exclaim. "Big sexy! Congrats on the contract!" She is shy, so that's what I did instead and told him I I really liked what he brought to the team and had him sign my water bottle.

I got a chuckle out of him, so I hope that made his day.

That Matthew Mayich story is so sad. They are saying he’s not in a coma but has zero percent chance of recovery,meaning he’s probably brain dead or close to it. Why would a coach tell someone to withhold water to a player in the Arizona heat. I know I’m dying in 86 degree weather like Matthew and to not let him get water is murder and negligence. It just pisses me off. Admins can delete this if not allowed.
