Questions/Self question for us in saskatchewan, canada...
its raining.... a lot here, seems pretty cool. i popped onto a weather app i got and noticed it seems like the hurricanes in the pacific that turn norrhwards, kinda 'throw' a weather system my way..... comes through bringing rain. ive noticed it twice now. is this a normal thing for an el nino? i dont know much about it.
any specific weather coming my way thats uncommon? this august had way more cool days then hot days. and i remember when i was a kid theres was virtually no snow on the ground at christmas (must have been late 90s).

Which EU countries have nice cold, snowy winters like those in the American Upper Midwest?
I am from California but lived for a few years in Wisconsin. Which EU countries would be best to move to that have cold, snowy winters akin to those in the Upper Midwest, especially like Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan?

Questions/Self Super EL niño
Can somebody please help me understand what this means? I have multiple sources telling me that winter in Minnesota isn't going to be as extreme as it has been, and then other sources saying brace yourself for a cold ass winter. Can someone tell me which one is right? Feel like I'm going stir crazy. Thanks!

Questions/Self Most reliable free weather app when not near major cities
For context I live ~25 miles from the nearest city. The problem is there is a microclimate that is nearby but im not really in that either. When I have used weather apps the best way I can get any kind if semi accurate info is to compare the forecast for the city and the microclimate and just kinda assume temperature will be between the 2. Predicting snow and weather though seems impossible. Day of I can check the radar, but if its more than 24 hours out even days that are listed at >80% chance of rain tend to be very hit or miss. Is there an app or website that will accurately give me a model for where I actually live, instead of lumping me into one of the other 2 areas that I dont really belong in?
