Begin the tanker wars have.

Iran has refrained from targeting stationary tankers until now. Seems like the US just gave them legitimacy. I wonder what the effect would be if Iran starts taking out stationary tankers at fujairah and Persian Gulf.

Russian attack on a crowded shopping centre in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, on 21 August appears to constitute a breach of international humanitarian law, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) Around 16:30 on Friday 21 August, a long-range drone launched by Russian armed forces struck the shopping centre "Soniachna Gallereia" (Sun Gallery) in Kryvyi Rih. Approximately 30 minutes later, a second drone struck the same mall. HRMMU established that the shopping centre was operational and full of civilians at the time of the attack. The two strikes killed at least 16 civilians and injured 128, including at least 23 children, according to Ukrainian authorities. - Source

"The skies over the Kharkiv region are being cleared of enemy drones around the clock by the "Iron Birds"—an interceptor battery from an anti-aircraft missile division. The video shows the downing of various aircraft: a "Lancet" strike drone, "Zala" and "Mavic" reconnaissance drones, and an eight-engine bomber.

The U.S. Navy is facing a serious logistics problem in the Middle East. Around 20 ships carrying roughly 20,000 sailors and Marines need more than 420,000 meals and about eight million gallons of fuel every week. The situation became much harder after Iran destroyed a key Navy logistics base in Bahrain and made other nearby ports too dangerous to use.
