How to schedule an appointment at CAPS?

Anyone know any good locticians/stylists around UAlbany that do starter locs?
I’m trying to start my loc journey but I don’t really know anyone around that can do it 😭 Preferably somewhere on/near campus or somewhere that’s easy to get to without a car.
Also how much do they usually charge for starter locs and do they take appointments or walk-ins?

Hii! I’m currently a sophomore but I was looking into off campus apartments for next year, or possibly the upcoming summer. Any recommendations! Preferably I would like something off campus, private room, would like to be furnished but doesn’t have to, year round, and rent no more than 800? I don’t really know where to start looking. I know ‘luxury’ apartments like Auden and Hudson are pretty expensive and have problems on their own. I know more than likely I’ll have to get roommates which im fine with! Anyone with recommendations please comment!!

Did anyone else receive an email about access to Genio through Disability Access and Inclusion Student Services? It seems interesting as a new notetaking tool but I'm nervous it might be a phishing scam or something.

im a freshman and I responded to ONE EMAIL late and my response to that email would’ve dictated if i got the Permission Number in time. The Professor gave me the permission number maybe 20 minutes ago but obvi the permission number thing closed🥲🥲

would it be an easy process to get added to this class late or would it be too much and would i bother the professor by doing a late add

the only reason im so late with this is because my advisor literally only told us about the concept of permission numbers at like 1pm on wednesday and it became a whole thing

We need some team members for our new restaurant opening in Troy, NY, from October.

My roomate and I dont mesh at all. I have to wake up early for class so I go to bed somewhat after 10. They however stay up all night and even into the morning on their computer watching videos. They also dont like sleeping in darkness so a light has to be on which messes with how I sleep. On top of that their classes start around 12 so theyre just in the room all morning. They also get back late so naturally they want to chill in the room before they sleep.

We’ve already had a talk about this but I genuinely dont see this getting better and I can just tell it wont. Is there anyway that I would be able to change my room this early into the year? And is this even serious enough for the RA to actually let me change my room?
