1 on 1 Tutoring for Usmle Step 1

Upvotes

If you’re prepping for USMLE Step 1 your UWorld or NBME scores aren’t getting any better, just doing more questions might not solve your problem

I’m Dr. Daniel. I’m ECFMG certified, have completed USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3, and scored a 278 on Step 2 CK. I’ve spent more than four years helping medical students pass their USMLE.

As a USMLE Step 1 tutor, a big part of my job is figuring out why a student is missing questions. Is there a true knowledge gap? Are you struggling to apply what you know? Maybe you’re consistently getting stuck between two answers? These are all common problems a lot of students face

My Step 1 tutoring focuses on improving NBME scores, focusing on test taking strategy, and targeted teaching based on individual weak areas.

I tutor through Dedicated Prep alongside some of the smartest and most genuinely supportive physicians and residents you will find

You can book a completely free session through the website dedicatedprep, for us to discuss where you are at, and build a targeted strategy for you to ace this exam!

Best of luck to everyone preparing! This exam is difficult, but a clear plan and guidance, and trust in the process, it’s 100% passable

Language Structured Russian lessons for English speakers

Upvotes

Hi there! My name is Irina, and I'm a native Russian speaker passionate about helping learners achieve their language goals. With a Master's degree in Education, I'm equipped to provide effective and engaging Russian language instruction.

I help students of all levels learn Russian through a clear, organized, and highly effective system.

If you want to stop guessing and start truly understanding how Russian works, you are in the right place. My approach is based on clarity and results. I provide the structure you need to speak correctly from day one - whether you are learning the language for travel, family, or preparing for TRKI exams.

Why this structured approach works

- Step-by-step learning: you will follow a proven professional plan. No confusion or gaps - only steady progress from level to level.

- Grammar made simple: I explain complex rules in a simple way, and Russian cases and verbs will become clear so you can naturally use them in conversation.

- 17 years of experience: I have helped hundreds of students achieve their goals, adapting professional methods to their individual learning style.

- Full support: you will get access to a personal student account with MP4 files and original digital materials for practice between lessons.

What you can expect from our lessons.

- Individual approach: lessons designed with your specific needs and goals in mind.
- Effective teaching methods: proven techniques that help you learn quickly and efficiently.
- Cultural aspects: introduction to the rich culture and history of Russia.
- Confidence building: you will learn to build sentences correctly and improve your pronunciation through active practice.
- Flexible schedule: choose the time that works best for you.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to unlock the world of Russian!

About me.

I believe in tailoring lessons to each student's individual needs and learning style.

I am interactive and engaging: I utilize a variety of teaching techniques, including role-playing, discussions, and multimedia resources, to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Focus on practical application: my lessons emphasize practical language skills, such as conversation, reading, writing, and listening, to help students communicate effectively in real-world situations.

Upvotes

Hello!

I am a recent MSc graduate in physics. Currently I am on a break at my home, thinking about next steps. Meanwhile, I'd like to teach some students as I love talking about science in general. I am open to teaching Maths and Physics to anyone. I could also teach some physics if you are in your undergrad. I will be taking the classes online. If anyone is interested, let me know!

We can discuss the pay, don't worry, I won't ask for much. I'd also prefer to take one on one classes.

For Hire [OFFER] Fall Tutoring (US & Canada)

Upvotes

I will try to keep this short and concise. If I look like a good fit feel free to reply here or DM me and we can talk about the finer details.

Experience: 9 Years as a tutor. Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State.

Subjects Offered: I focus primarily in math and science but can handle any subject at the middle or high school level outside of foreign language. I can also help with Freshmen/Sophomore level math and science in University.

Rate: $35CAD/hr via e-Transfer or $25 USD via Zelle

Approach: I try to focus on the why's and how's of each topic covered. I have found that this is the most neglected area in most classes. The student knows theoretically what to do, but doesn't know why they are doing it so they can't apply it to outside situations or to adapt it to new problems. I value being asked questions and talking through the problems to focus on the problem areas.

I also have a testimonial post if you want to read reviews from past students. https://www.reddit.com/user/rjytutor/comments/1q3wy8n/testimonials/

Hi everyone,

I’m a tutor for the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams. I understand the exam well given Ive scored 271 in step 2 and passed step 1. I’ve rigorously analyzed the structure of NBME questions, and my goal is to help you understand exactly how the examiners think and design their tests.

I have been tutoring for almost 2 years now through Dedicated Prep to help students address their weak concepts as well as test taking strategy. Online tutoring for MBBS students (1st and 2nd year)

Upvotes

I have always had a strong passion for teaching and enjoy making complex concepts easier to understand. During medical school, I had the opportunity to teach junior batches, particularly first and second year students, in their non clinical and paraclinical subjects. I also conducted teaching panels for final year students in Medicine, which helped me develop my ability to explain clinical concepts in a structured and engaging manner.

During my emergency medicine posting, I also taught junior batches basic clinical procedures and practical skills, including BP measurement, catheterization, ECG recording and interpretation, ABG analysis, and the basics of FAST and EFAST ultrasound.

I have also actively participated in academic quizzes, including helping conduct quizzes and being part of judging panels. These experiences allowed me to engage with students in a different academic setting, assess their understanding, and contribute to creating an interactive learning environment.

These experiences have strengthened my interest in medical education and helped me become more confident in communicating concepts, addressing doubts, and adapting my teaching style to different learning needs. I would love the opportunity to continue teaching, contribute to students’ learning, and help them build a strong foundation in medicine.

So if you or anyone you know is looking for a tutor, dm me.

For Hire USMLE Step 1 Tutor, 1-on-1 Online Tutoring, $10/hour

Upvotes

Hi everyone! I recently passed USMLE Step 1 and am currently working as a physician while preparing for Step 2 CK. I'm offering affordable, personalized one-on-one tutoring for USMLE Step 1.

My approach is focused on helping you actually understand and connect concepts rather than simply memorizing isolated facts. Sessions can be tailored to your individual weaknesses and where you are in your preparation.

I can help with:

• Difficult or confusing Step 1 concepts
• High-yield topic review
• Connecting concepts across subjects and systems
• Approaching and interpreting Step 1-style questions
• Identifying patterns in your weak areas
• Discussing questions or topics that you bring to our sessions
• Study strategy and planning based on your individual needs

Format: 1-on-1 online sessions via Zoom or Google Meet
Rate: $10/hour
Scheduling: Flexible and can be arranged around different time zones
Availability: I am currently taking on only one student

Because I work in a hospital, I intentionally keep my tutoring availability limited so I can give my student focused and personalized attention.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a DM with a little about where you are in your Step 1 preparation and what you're currently struggling with. I can offer a 15-20 minute demo. We can discuss whether I would be a good fit for what you need.
