20 bucks for all of the cards, which I think are a steal. I wish the box wasn't so damaged, but the cards are in perfect condition, so I'm happy I might cut the box up and keep the art and throw away the rest. And I found these 2 awesome spawn figures. I was tempted on a violator chopper and violator monster truck but left them and a violator in the original packaging, but sadly, I just had to let it go.

Issue 1 anyone know about this mini series issue 1-3

I thought it was actually a pretty good series overall. She-spawn has always wanted to be with her daughter but never has in the scorched so making her partner up with a kid version of al Simmons whom she already has a good relationship with is a pretty good dynamic for her to be a mother figure. And the end was a AWSOME send off. But the problems I had with it is savage dragon not getting a full panel where we actually see his full body and when Jessica tells her mom to abuse her kid even though the younger version of Jessica is playing the park. Maybe if they showed the younger version Jessica beating up another kid I guess it could work.

Theirs 2 looks for Medieval spawn. When he first appeared he had this lean look then later he died and got resurrected turning himself into a bulky beast kind of a man. So do you prefer your Medieval spawn lean or bulky?

I've been getting into comics recently and am trying to branch out from what I currently got, which is the DC Absolute stuff. Planning to get some Moon Knight and Hellboy comics, but with Spawn I'm not so sure about. While I enjoy Spawn, I loved playing as him in MK11 and liked the HBO series very much, the few opinions I've heard about the comics are mixed. So my question is this: is it worth it to invest in the comics for an enjoyable read and good art? If so, where do I begin? Do I just get Spawn #1?

I'm currently reading through the whole series and I'm getting mad at the lack of character development Al's allowed to have. He shows regret for leaving Redeemer in hell then when he's face to face he doesnt care and turns back to angry and violent.

She Spawn has joined my collection and I think they like each other.

Anyone here remembers the shadows of spawn manga. It was a japanese spin-off set in it's own world with a new hellspawn named Ken Kurosawa japanese america set in californin trying to protect his sister.

It also has classic characters like Violator,a clone of tremor malebolgia and Al simmons making cameos.

It also has original characters like toshio,Helena,Beezelbub,backbreaker,caleb,zombie spawn,mangler,and Caleb,

It was canceled after volume 3. It got recent volume collection and i wanna see it get another chance of being rebooted in Modern spawn universe.

Like Make Ken a living hellspawn like peter cairn who got his powers from al's bomb from 301.

Maybe make his design different from other spawns like giving him a street punk ninja hybrid hoodie outfit and younger than other spawns due to him being a teenager.

Mikalea the angela clone can be remaked into a teenager human angel hybrid who is half japanese half america.She woulf have white hair and a bobcut. She also has armor like magik but more modest.

Also Beezelbub being malebolgia's sister showing up with a redesign her human form being buisness woman like helltaker beezelbub and her true form being 7'0 tall humanoid insect. She would be ken's personal big bad.

Backbreaker being remade from a violator clone to hulling human demon hybrid who is a fusion of bane,adam smasher,and cyberdemon from doom sevring under beezelbub.

Ellis Bennet can be a cyber snake human hybrid working for beezelbub too.

Finally got two scorched issues this month the issue 53 ends the mission safely and prince of cats is a mafia boss gonna go after the scorched and haunt goes under cover going after the evil child tracifcers from issue 48 and 49

I had the hot wheels and the early Mcfarlane vehicle for the Spawn figures. I would love to see them update or redo the toy.

Not good. The first compendium was a slog to get through with nothing ever happening other than spawn sulking in the alleyways. After the first compendium the repetition ends but I can’t stand the over exposition of everything being explained. Can’t you just have things happen without explaining everything in detail. What the persons feeling, thinking, and planning. Can’t the reader come up with his or her own conclusions? I would rate this series as so bad it’s good. Like “The Room” of comic books. For some reason I finished all 7 books. Every comic seemed to be leading up to something monumental that would happen and it never did. And Spawn is constantly at odds with himself and never really spends any time being a hero or antihero. Spider-Man always had issues and obstacles in his life but was a hero in the meantime. I don’t know Spawn is not for me.
