So had to Google it but this girl is 23 and already an onlyfans model, so, not exactly seeing the grooming aspect of an adult who is already leaning into the 'selling nudies' career path.

I see you did… extensive research

The age of consent on the internet is just the age of the user.

Well when people use the word grooming it usually means more than just age. You don't have to be legally a child to be groomed and being groomed can have different results but at the end of the day it's manipulation of a vulnerable person. "Vulnerable" is a word I've noticed that is very triggering in American discourse, possibly due to the end of the Obama era and the continued resurgence of victim mentality hatred. But the reality is, vulnerable is a word meant to more describe the dynamics between two people and less the conditions of which a person being groomed finds themselves in. A rich kid can be vulnerable to predatory marketing to get them hooked on vape pens, a middle class veteran can be vulnerable to predatory loan tactics, etc. In this case this girl is in the onlyfans industry for a reason, she's pursuing notoriety and enough attention to drive engagement and increase her income as often pursuing this career can torpedo your ability to lean on traditional work opportunities. The door really only opens again when you hit super fame and thus your wealth and status negates your porn history as you have marketing, digital and business skills to prove you're an asset somewhere. She's not there yet and being around drake can give her that path for higher financial income and opportunities. He knows this. He has much more experience in entertainment and how the industry works in the good the bad and the ugly. He has vastly more wealth, reputation, business, high level networks, and opportunities at his disposal that he has leverage over someone who even in a consensual relationship has much more to lose then to NOT pursue with drake. This dynamic is too intertwined with sex, power and business that it quickly can be sticky that drake should really be the MOST responsible person in this yet he's going forward with it as a marketing tactic and likely a fetish. Hence why it's gross. For older people this has been typically how relationships work, I marry you and pay for everything and you give me kids and take of the house etc. For younger people these dynamics of relationships being business is not what they've been sold or want to believe. In places like LA or NY it's still common and strong, especially if you move up the income level and circles or further below in other countries.

Grooming is specifically about age and "prepping" an underage individual for when they come of age.

Yes, that is an example of grooming and a commonly known one that is conventionally identified in our culture. Again, age is not the sole metric of what counts as grooming. Adults can be groomed and it may not always be maliciously intentional.

So she gets even more fame, the thing she desires and he gets to bang a young woman. It seems like a clear cut business transaction right here. Why do we just assume the woman is a brainless zombie sex slave? Hell, if Drake accidentally knocks her up, she's freaking set for life. Ever see what happens with every single NBA and NFL player and their baby mamas? Women can be immoral too.

I don't think it's about stripping women of their autonomy but understanding dynamics and acknowledging them. This is a hard one to discuss because people have very strong feelings where emotions cloud our understanding of complex relationships to curve not ideal behavior. A good example of this is trying to stem and reduce pedophilia but every time we try to understand it and research it the public has a very negative and intense conflation of studying pedophilic behavior as accepting and promoting pedophilia behavior because research and understanding doesn't immediately come with medieval punishment. I never said, and I don't see anyone, saying women can't be immoral here. I think you correctly observed in how opportunistic women financially trap male athletes and how the corporations capitalize on athletes bodies for their profit. I think youre being unfairly downvoted on identifying how there is a chain of exploitation from top to bottom and bottom up that is no coincidence in a hyper capitalistic society.
