Apparently this is just a millennial thing.

My coworkers are all genx and older and they think I'm so weird for sitting in my car during lunch.

It’s because we are exhausted all the time, lol. Some days walking out to the car feels like a lot, unless it’s quitting time ◡̈

I been going to my car on every break & lunch for 5 years, I'm 35. Many other people also go to their cars, I know a 28 yr old girl there does, which is Gen Z, so maybe your workplace has some weirdos or something 🤔
