I would like to preface this by saying that as of now I have only seen season 1+2 of the anime + the movie so idk if the writing changes much or if he is written differently in the manga.

When watching konosuba it feels like Kazuma acts almost as 2 different characters, most of the time he is a decent character who while not a great guy is kinda likeable and is a pretty good protagonist but in certain scenes and episodes (like the succubus one or his interactions sleeping with megumin in the movie) he is written in an excessively perverse and predatory way that i struggle to see how it helps him as a character.

his comments about age and how long the succubus can go just feel gross, they don’t create humor, they just make him super unlikeable and unbelieviable as a character.

idk if I’m missing anything but the scenes where he suddenly becomes super perverse just feel unnecessary and actively hinder both the believability of the world and the likeability of him as a character.

Has anyone heard any updates on an American region A release of the Konosuba movie?

Decided to buy myself a Kamvas and give it a go at colouring. This was very new and my first time using it so apologies for the shading and little mistakes. I’m going to continue to practice! Thank you to everyone who loved my sketch 😊

I'm curious—are there any good, long *Konosuba* fanfic that capture the series' humor? On ao3 There are only about two thousand of them, but most are unfinished or crossovers, so do you have any recommendations? (It can be a crossover, but it needs to focus on the *Konosuba* side of things.)

Rant: Seriously, though, how hard is it to input the text from the translated script made for the production team and voice actors into the closed captions / subtitles? Crunchyroll (among many other websites/applications) has some truly awful automated captions (including lines that contain errors, have the wrong timing, or are even missing), especially towards the end of series. #I-Need-To-See-To-Hear #Tired-Of-Trash-Captions
