I bought QX80 2023 in Feb 2026, and was wondering if there is any updates to the maps and infotainment software.

Contacted Infiniti in Dubai, they advised there's no update. Think my car is running 2022 maps.

Bought the Gitank iPod adaptor for my Infiniti and it still won’t work for aux… idk if my aux port is broken but I’ve replaced it a few times and nothing has ever worked… I’m pretty sure it’s not receiving power bc the Gitank works perfectly fine on other vehicles…

As the title says, I'm looking at the best way to upgrade the sound system in my G35, it doesn't seem entirely practical to replace the head unit, but I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to replace the head unit, speakers, and factory Bose amp.

Looking at purchasing this 2010. Does this service at an Infiniti dealership indicate that the gallery gasket was likely replaced with the upgraded one from 2013? Also can the Infiniti dealer disclose what was done exactly if I give them a call?

Hi guys, quick question. I have a 2010 Infiniti FX35 and I've been experiencing something strange that started happening last week.

When I start the car (it doesn't happen every time), the battery warning light will stay on for about 5 minutes and then eventually go away. I ignored it at first, but today I started the car and it fired up normally, but both the battery light and BRAKE light stayed on for about 15 minutes before eventually going off.

I checked the battery voltage while this was happening and it was reading 11.57V. After about 15 minutes, the warning lights went off and the voltage was up to 13.9V.

The battery is only about 18 months old.

So, does this sound more like a bad battery, a failing alternator, or possibly something else? I'm especially wondering why the voltage starts so low and then eventually comes back up to normal.

I’m trying to find a Hitachi IACV for my 01 G20 for when I fix my ECM. P0505 must’ve fried it already, replaced with an IACV from Oriellys and the code came back. The website that I’m looking at notes that “NOTE: The Idle Air Control Valve on the vehicle MUST be replaced with an OEM (Hitachi brand) IACV prior to reinstallation of the ECM, or immediate damage to the computer will occur!!!”. I’m assuming the aftermarket one I put must’ve really messed with the ECM further, so now im looking to replace it with an OEM IACV. Thing is that the “23781-5U001” (IACV) Hitachi is no where to be found online, all that I’ve seen are out of stock. I’ve seen this one but I’m skeptical because I’ve never order a part overseas and I don’t know how reputable this website is, and if it’s a genuine part from Nissan.

I bought a second hand QX50 2020. I found out the rag and pinion is a little be worn out. The Steering wheel wobbles around center while standing still. The local dealership is charging $5.5k for brand new rag & pinion. I was hoping to find a reliable after market parts seller. I also have to change other things. I would appreciate it if anyone can provide a reliable website where to look for after market or refurbished parts for my car. Thanks!

Recently got a QX70 under the hood is really dirty and I would really like to brighten it up, is there any master hose sets like these that fit the QX70? Do some fit since they’re the same engine, or not since their body is different? Thanks for the help

I have a 2014 Infiniti Q50 and I’ve had it for about 10 years. I recently had to replace a screen because it went out. I decided to upgrade the tech to CarPlay through a company that is known for replacing outdated tech in older cars. The new systems worked well for a little over a month and the top screen started to flicker. The next thing I know, both screens went black. I took the car back to the shop I had the tech put in and they took the DCU, both screens, and the radio (the entire middle section). They sent it to their factory and everything was said to be working fine. They are sending the parts back to install them again, suspecting something is wrong with the car. I had a test done and my electrical is fine. I also noticed a slight rattling sound and when I touched two of the chords in the screen section, that sound stopped. I’ve heard it before and I just assumed I dropped something on the floor that was rolling around or my phone holder was loose. What else could be causing this issue the screen issue? I suspect it has something to do with how it was installed. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

What are your thoughts on the quote my boss received for repairing the VVEL system on his 2020 Infiniti QX80?

We feel this an intentional high quote for a job they don’t want to do. Anyone else had these repairs?

If anyone can help me with my Q50 not starting I would be very appreciative.

My 2012 FX50S has 137k miles and I just dropped $11.7k on repairs and maintenance.

It was running fine but had a long list of things to check or resolve. The most costly was replacing one of the cats, over $5k alone.

I wrestled with what do to. I had a 2026 QX60 loaner and it had all the new tech. The turbo 4, however… compared to the 5.0… I mean there is no comparison.

So I accepted that the FX is still my favorite car, and paid the stealership. It’s now mechanically dialed (again) and everything works. It’s fast AF and still so fun to drive.

What would you have done?

Anyone else keeping a V8 FX alive at any cost just because nothing like it still exists?

I use the dealer because they offer a premium overall experience and it’s worth it to me. The independent guys are a little cheaper, but not much, not around here.
