Fun fact: paid $9,000 usd for it in 2021 and now it’s worth about $17,500. Here in Colombia these years are very sought after.

This bike has been a blast, I’ve ridden plenty of 1000cc bikes, but the torque delivery on these bikes are so much fun

I am currently in a position where I do not have a ton of time but I would really like to get the bike fixed up myself. Road and ran fine with no starting troubles last week and then sat in the garage for 6 days. Then all of a sudden this. Sorry to use you guys as free diagnostic and normally I would tear into it. But I really don’t have the time right this second. Thank you for any help or assistance!

As a motorcycle enthusiast (and mechanic), I got tired of losing track of service intervals and past maintenance records across loose notes and invoices and making new excel documente for new bikes. I wanted a clean, mobile-friendly place to keep full track of everything—from basic oil changes and chain adjustments to custom modifications and receipts. You can even transfer the history to a new owner, so every maintenance is kept safe. I always buy my bikes secondhand and they are most of the time without any previous records, and it would be nice if i could see what has been done( or not done)
I even made a dealer portal, which if things get off the ground, dealers can record maintenance for people and can get a notification when people are almost due for their next service.
It has even more functions but not everything is working right now( email notifications etc). As i try to do this in my spare time, not everything will be set up as Quickly as i would like.

What you'll need:
Container (old butter bowl will work)
Toothbrush (new or old)
Water
Some rags

Chances are, you'll have this stuff laying around and it will do the job. No need to spend money on fancy products when this will work.

Don't forget to add chain wax once you're done cleaning it!

My 2014 fz09 with over 100k miles threw a rod out of the front side of the case today. Are failures like this common on fz09s? I took great care of the bike with maintenance and valve adjustments.

I am thinking of swapping in a used cp3 . i Imagine anything from 2014-2020 will fit?

Has anyone done this job before? Any advice? Where did you source your used cp3 and how much did you pay? I see one locally for $2.1k. Owner is claiming 12k miles on it.

Aside from spinning it over by hand, would you inspect or verify anything else before purchasing it?

Hit a car on my right. Lowsided on the left when I went down scraping the shit outta the left and bending a shit ton, mostly just the clutch lever, handle bar, shifter, and the peg. I'm more worried about this damage that happened, I assume, when I hit said car. Is this gonna total her :(

This is the 2nd FZ-09 that I converted, tutorials are on my YouTube channel on how to do it.

Stuck between road 6s or continental road attack 4s, anybody have experience with either?

Found alot of guys using same/similar set ups. Works good. Needs a few extras. And needs good non maring tire spoons. Other than that worked great to patch tire a remount. Marked valve stem location with paint marker and good to go. Will be making my own tire balancer as well. Everything is getting g expensive more DIY it is!!
