Upvotes

Hello, I'm a beginner in branding design and I use this small project as my branding exercise. It'll be very helpful if I can get some advice on how I can improve this. Thank you!

Critique & Roast my trick taking Card game

Upvotes

Hey design nerds :D

I built a card game inspired by the famous Wizard card game (Toronto, Ontario Canada 1984)

We play this every time we meet up with friends and family. In Germany. I was insanely bad every bloody time so i thought, is there a way to train?

Well here it is https://testflight.apple.com/join/pFMAMWmB

Happy to hear your design critique!

Redesigned my web studio site. Would love some honest feedback

Upvotes

Recently redesigned nsheth.in.

Tried to make it feel more like a proper digital studio instead of a personal portfolio.

We work on websites, web apps, booking systems, ecommerce and custom business tools.

Would love feedback on the first impression, clarity and overall design.

Can you understand what this map does without reading the explanation?

Upvotes

I need fresh eyes on an interaction I’ve been staring at for way too long.

The intended mental model is:

click a country → choose an amount → see your approximate share → add your name/logo + links → claim the spot.

Bigger amount = larger current relative area.

If other placements enter the same country later, the existing areas can resize and reshape.

https://spotmymap.com/

Do you understand what the map is doing within the first 20–30 seconds?

What looks clickable but isn’t?

What doesn’t look clickable but should?

Where do you hesitate?

Is there anything on mobile that feels like it’s fighting you?

Brutal design feedback is genuinely useful here.

This is my passion project and I want it to be part of internet for a long time...

Have a nice day!

[Web UI] DropCurrent NFT: does the oversized hero get in the way of browsing collections?

Upvotes

https://www.dropcurrentnft.com/

I'm Carlos from Power CM Software, behind this site. This post is prepared and posted with my authorised AI assistant.

I'd like a critique of the homepage's visual hierarchy. DropCurrent is an NFT collection directory: visitors browse artwork and follow marketplace links. Browsing is free; creators pay for promotional listings, so this is a commercial project.

The opening screen uses a large purple graphic and stacked "Catch the next wave" headline. The actual collection cards sit farther down. The visual identity is distinct, but I suspect the hero demands too much scrolling before visitors can see what the directory contains.

There's also a navigation issue: New Drops, Collections and Ongoing currently point to the same published section. I'm considering simplifying those labels until they lead to genuinely different views.

Would you prioritise reducing the hero height, bringing a row of collection cards into the opening screen, or simplifying the navigation first? I'd especially appreciate comments on the balance between the large typography and usable space at narrower widths. Critical feedback is welcome.

been working on this watch for a while now and this is where it ended up so far

i went through a lot of different versions before getting here and honestly every time i thought it was done i would find something that bothered me and change it again

the main thing i wanted was a skeleton watch that still had its own identity and didnt just look like a movement inside a case

forged carbon case, skeleton movement and tritium integrated into the dial so it still has a completely different look at night

still not calling it finished yet

what would you guys change?

Does AirTrax’s homepage make the product clear, or does it look like a music service?

Upvotes

I’m the founder of AirTrax and would appreciate a critique of the homepage: https://www.airtrax.io/

It’s a music-business platform for independent artists. The product combines lessons and industry contacts with tools for planning releases, campaigns, and outreach.

The homepage uses a dark palette, gold accents, and the headline “Run your music career. Keep every right.” I’m particularly interested in three things:

  1. From the first screen, can you tell what you’d actually do in the product?

  2. Does the type hierarchy make it easy to scan on a phone?

  3. Is the path to the public guides clear enough for someone who wants to see something useful before signing up?

Blunt feedback on the wording and layout would help. The public pages can be viewed without an account.

Feedback on a professional website for a senior commercial candidate

Upvotes

Hi all,

I recently rebuilt my professional website and would value design/UX feedback from people who can look at it with fresh eyes.

It’s not a business or consulting site. It’s my personal professional website, intended mainly for recruiters and hiring managers evaluating me for senior partnerships, alliances and channel sales roles.

The main goal is that someone should understand within about 30 seconds:

  • what I do
  • what commercial problems I solve
  • what evidence supports that
  • whether they should keep reading / contact me

Website:
henriqueromana.com

The areas I’d especially like feedback on are:

  • Is the homepage hierarchy clear enough?
  • Does the hero feel balanced, or is the image/copy split still awkward?
  • Do the case studies feel easy to scan?
  • Does the site look consistent across pages, or are there obvious visual/structural inconsistencies?
  • Does anything feel too corporate, too generic or over-designed?
  • Is there anything that looks like unnecessary decoration rather than useful information?

I’m not looking for compliments, I’d genuinely prefer specific criticism on layout, hierarchy, spacing, typography and overall coherence.

I got tired of my duo losing us games because of bad itemization, so I coded a dynamic counter-build tool based on enemy drafts. Its for league of legends, would like review of the site if it looks good etc.

Upvotes

As a robotics engineering student, I'm pretty obsessed with optimization and solving problems. But when it comes to lol I saw the one repeating problem one of my buddies have.... itemization! He doesn't understand when to buy anti-heal or when to buy tenacity etc. He was blindly following static builds from the usual stat sites and losing us winnable games just because he wouldn't adapt his items to the enemy draft. I tried building him a solution and said you know what why not release it to the public, and you know what is totally FREE because as a student I also don't have that much money . Don't expect much right now I only managed to get about 600k games and trying to grow that number every day by 200-300k , so some off-meta builds like aatorx jg or fiddle top might not appear but I will try my best to integrate them to . If you have any time check out my tool its neverff.com and give me a review on discord or on the site e-mail. All suggestions help thanks and good luck on the rift.

PS: Updates might be slow keep in mind I am single dev

[Web][Beta] I got sick of watching founders waste 6 months building MVPs nobody wants, so I built an AI that brutally validates your startup idea before you write code. Need harsh feedback.

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m a solo dev, and I kept seeing the exact same pattern: founders spending 6 months building a complex SaaS, launching to absolute crickets, and then giving up. It happens because people love writing code, but they hate validating if there is actual market demand before they start.

So I spent the last few weeks building XpertVex (https://xpertvex.com).

How it works: Instead of building the product first, you type in your 1-sentence idea. The AI runs a live web audit, scrapes the current market, and generates a brutal reality check in 3 minutes.

It gives you:

  • A 0-100 Market Viability Score (so you know if it's even worth coding)
  • Exact market size metrics (TAM/SAM)
  • A list of hidden competitors you probably didn't know existed

Why I need your help: The marketing and sales side of this is completely new to me. I've only really shared it on IndieHackers and Discord so far, so I'm flying blind right now.

I would really appreciate it if some of you could run an idea through the site and give me some brutal, unfiltered feedback on the UI, the quality of the analysis, or the pricing model. Please don't hold back, I want to know what sucks.

Link: https://xpertvex.com

Thanks in advance!

Design critique wanted for a room and cabinetry planning website

Upvotes

I would appreciate a design critique of Joinery Kit, a paid room and cabinetry planning app I created.

The audience is people planning a kitchen, laundry or built-in storage project. The product includes precise room measurements, editable cabinets, 2D and 3D views, and printable drawings.

What I want to improve is how clearly the public website communicates the workflow. Could you look at the visual hierarchy and wording with these questions in mind?

  1. Can you tell what the user actually does in the app, rather than just what the final output looks like?
  2. Is the relationship between room layout, cabinetry and drawing exports clear?
  3. Which section or piece of wording needs the most simplification?

I am looking for specific design criticism, not ratings. You do not need to subscribe to review the public site.

Feedback on typography hierarchy and layout for a timeline print? And other elements

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

Designing a historic timeline print for a special t-shirt, to be paired with custom sleeve/pocket embroidery. Looking for feedback on typographic balance of the back as well as overall design and balance:

  • Is the centered 3-column timeline layout legible from a distance? it's challenging to make it a realistic size for a t-shirt back
  • Does the header eagle graphic feel proportionate to the text block?
  • Any alignment or spacing issues catching your eye?
  • Does the embroidery feel fitting or gaudy? Balanced or random?
