Yeah, my dumbass uncle had six kids with two different women and was able to support all eight people while working as a mechanic at a gas station. Paid for eight people and two 3-bedroom homes, and still had enough money to buy all sorts of toys (cars).

I can't comment on this guy's specific situation, but 45 years ago things seemed a lot more forgiving.

This isn't a sob story, if the guy can't house himself it's his own fucking fault. "I had to break into a school to survive" is an insult to all the people actually struggling in this country. He had a very good salary for his age and position and absolutely could have met his obligations if he behaved responsibly.
