We are over 2.5 hours past the kickoff time, but have only gotten 8 minutes of game time in, and yet it's already 14-3 South Carolina State. SC State is a wagon and FAMU has fallen off so bad after they lost Willie Simmons.

ESPN uses a different radar/lightning tracker than the game organizers did. ESPN rules require us to tell the camera folx to get to shelter when there's a strike in a certain radius, and our radar disagred with the stadium's.

Well, that and the stadium just started ignoring lightning strikes after a while

I don't watch much FCS but I like South Carolina State. The game against Prairie View was spectacular last year. They dropped 87 on a Division 2 school last week. Crazy. Just shows the gap between divisions. FCS isn't ever going to be as good as FBS, but they're almost certainly always going to be better than D2.

Savannah State is not a normal D2 team, they're so awful it's a miracle they still even have a football program. They tried to be FCS for a while so they could get money from FBS teams but after a while of being down 60-0 at halftime every week, they dropped back to D2.

This isn't meant to take away from SC State, but just mentioning that Savannah State is not a proper measuring stick.
