I haven’t seen an app coaching staff capable of putting their boot on the neck of a team with a pulse in a long time. UNC-c doesn’t count but this is nice because this isn’t a bad Maine team

The difference I was noticing is that we aren't making dumb execution mistakes. We had some penalties but not blown plays from guys not doing their job.

If everyone does their job and you still get beat, no worries. The past two seasons we had too many games where guys didn't do their jobs.

38-0 now against an FCS team, but the last couple years we’ve managed to make the opener look very dangerous. This is the type of football we saw prior to 2019. I am cautiously optimistic.

well, we have a second to breathe now. Let’s take inventory of everything that’s gone on so far. The defense looks the best it’s looked in a long time, giving up just three first downs and less than 9 minutes of possession time to the black bears. we were able to snag an interception and picked up a sack. on the off offensive side of things, it seems that we have three viable running backs in trig, cross, and webb. our Tight ends are getting plenty of work and malachai looks leagues better than any quarterback we had last year. Worth mentioning here that he’s 18 for 20 250 yards and three touchdowns through the air. The only notes are the red zone issues seemed persistent early and we’ve had some stupid penalties. This team is definitely going to a bowl game and probably farther in my opinion.
