as a georgia state alum who sat through years of truly awful football this still feels surreal. not that long ago we were losing to naia schools and now we're dropping 59 points like it's nothing
the funbelt is a beautiful chaotic mess and i love every second of it. nc a&t got absolutely steamrolled after that first quarter

I’m right there with you. I was joking to my friends after we went up by 3 TDs that it’s about this time I say “finally we’re doing what we’re supposed to against an FCS school,” which always filled with us giving up a bunch of points to them. And then they scored their TD, and I’m like oh, here we go…
…BUT IT DIDN’T HAPPEN

I don’t want to oversell this win but clearly Georgia State is the best team in the country and the favorite for the national championship.

This is our all-time highest scoring game, FYI. I know it's just against an FCS school but we've had plenty of years where we played FCS schools and had close games or even losses, so I will take breaking our scoring record against one, you know?

Taking care of business is always a good thing, nice way to start off the season especially after last year,
Nice win Panthers.

I wonder if NC A&T will look to move back to the MEAC? The CAA that exists now is a far cry from the CAA they joined, and their football team/recruiting has just gotten worse since joining the conference.

I don't know that I've ever watched a GSU game that we dominated enough to get the 4th stringers some reps

I know it's only a bottom-tier FCS team, but after an 1-11 season a dominant win like this feels pretty damn good.
