The school's in New Hampshire and he's the only president from the state. That's quite literally it.

You can certainly question the rationale given Pierce's track record, but I say it's fitting considering the school's president quit just eight days after opening

Always thought the same thing. Dude's main legacy is basically being the guy right before the Civil War who did absolutely nothing to stop it.

At least the school's in New Hampshire so it makes some geographic sense.
