Ah…how I missed these!

He deserves it. We missed you so much Craig, no more kickoff duty for you.

He’s going to put up NUMBERS this year if we get a lot of TDs in the south endzone. All but one of his PATs went to the 500 level this game.

Simmons is very good at reading coverage.

No designed QB runs against a team like this was refreshing. Dude was just chilling in the pocket slicing and dicing.

u/OutlawJoseyWales 4d ago

Wasn't a whole lot of coverage to read, frankly

Shoutout to the UAPB punter who watched the ball sail over him on a bad snap, saw two dudes running after him, and then made a business decision to kick the ball into his own endzone. I would’ve done the same thing.

Forgot to mention he did so about ~25 YDS away from the end zone lol.

And then due to penalties we started the drive after the safety on their 35. Respect the dude choosing not to get crushed, but from a football perspective that was a very bad decision.

It was a good decision at the time. Dude had no idea that there was going to be a kick out of bounds and a personal foul on the next play.

Yeah, my buddy and I were talking about what we would have done in that situation. Given the circumstances and alternatives, it seems like it was reasonable.

Lawrence kansas is going to burn to the ground on 9/11. Mark my words.

Reminds me of that tragedy.

When their library burned down?

Yeah, that was terrible. They lost both books, and one wasn’t even colored in.

Boston Marathon Bombing?

I walked through blood and bone in the streets of Manhattan trying to find my brother.

He was in northern Canada.

Too edgy for me now tbh. That was Quantrill right? We don't claim him

u/Zoltrahn Missouri Tigers 4d ago

It is a very stupid take that was never meant to be serious. Just wildly over the line for absurdity sake. From the stories I've heard, it was only one or two guys who made a very small batch, or even just the one or two for themselves. Some administrator caught wind of it and asked them to not wear/sell them and they agreed. That is the rumor/story I've pieced together.

u/npav42 Missouri Tigers 3d ago

It'll be the worst thing to ever happen to anyone on 9/11

u/Zloggt Illinois Fighting Illini • Missouri Tigers 4d ago

How pleasant!

Now…they await…

100-0 final and the new lighting stalks fall off as we leave

Nice Start for the season for Austin Simmons and Missouri, taking of businesses like they’re supposed too.

u/buttcabbge Missouri Tigers • Rutgers Scarlet Knights 4d ago

Compared to my other flair, Mizzou looked like 2001 Miami out there, so you won't hear me complain about anything.

u/Mender0fRoads Missouri Tigers 4d ago

That was a very Eliah Drinkwitz second half.

u/gatekeepboogienights 4d ago

Austin Simmons looked great against lesser competition, let's hope he keeps it up as our opponents get better each week.

u/BadabingBadaboom212 Missouri Tigers 4d ago

Idk if that was some amazing roast about Troy being better than Kansas but I love it

u/PixelRaven27 4d ago

Nice warmup for Mizzou, UAPB had no answer after that second quarter

u/pantalapampa Missouri Tigers 3d ago

A quarterback that goes through his progression and has a great arm? What is this, 2018?

When Matt said Mizzou would cover in his Patreon SEC Roll Call I knew they wouldnt

u/Poxx South Carolina Gamecocks 3d ago

Mizzou shutout, outscored 7-0 by UAPB in the 3rd quarter. Woof...rough year coming for the Tigers.
