Does the ns400z let water in fuel tank when parked in rain as i am planning a trip to the mountains.

Hiii im like 5’10 and 52 kgs im like 22 yo. Was actively hitting gym. Now im bit confused should i go for dominar 400 is it gonna bother me in sense of driving. Ima ride it often. Ion live in city but this place is quite bit of traffic. Is it gonna be a problem or should i consider some other bikes

I bought my Bajaj Pulsar 125 (top model) on 8 July 2026, and I've ridden it only around 2,500 km so far.

Recently, I noticed engine oil leaking from the upper side of the engine. I’ve attached a picture for reference.

I'm concerned because the bike is quite new and has very low mileage.

I have a few questions:

1. Is this something serious, or could it just be a gasket/seal issue?
2. The bike was purchased from a showroom about 100 km away from my town.
3. There is a Bajaj authorised service centre in my city. Can I get this issue fixed there under warranty, or do I have to take the bike back to the dealer where I purchased it?
4. Has anyone faced a similar issue with a new Pulsar?
5. I've heard that some service centres/dealers may say “the bike is new, we can't open the engine”. What should I do if they refuse to properly inspect/repair it?

I don't want to keep riding it and make the problem worse, so I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with a similar situation.

I am confused on the mileage thing.

How accurate is the AFE?

DTE is absolutely bullshit i know but maybe AFE is close to accurate?

So i got last bar of fuel and it is blinking but the range is 200kms still

So can anyone tell me that how much fuel is there when you just got last bar and is this afe thing correct to some extent??

I'm in the process of buying a new Bajaj Platina 100 ES gor my father and received the following written on-road quotation from the dealership:

* Ex-Showroom: ₹72,470

* Insurance: ₹6,000

* Registration Certificate (RTO) Tax: ₹4,000

* HSRP: ₹530

* Total On-Paper Quote: ₹83,000

On top of this ₹83,000, the sales executive is verbally demanding an additional ₹1,000 for mandatory accessories and a helmet.

A few doubts I’d love some insight on from experienced owners:

* HSRP Charge (₹530): As far as I know, MoRTH guidelines state that High-Security Registration Plates must be included within the ex-showroom price for all new vehicles delivered by dealerships. Is this an illegal dealer markup?

* Insurance (₹6,000): This seems on the higher side for a 100cc commuter. Can I buy my own policy online (1-year Own Damage + 5-year Third Party) from outsider and will the dealer give me pushback during registration?

* Extra ₹1,000 for Helmet & Accessories: Under Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR), aren't manufacturers/dealers mandated to provide an ISI/BIS-certified helmet at vehicle handover without forcing an extra accessory package? Can I decline this charge?

Would really appreciate guidance on what I can negotiate off this bill before putting down the booking amount.

Hey guys, I recently bought a new Bajaj N250 and it’s only been around 1–2 weeks. I’ve ridden about 200+ km so far.
The only issue I’m facing is a loud metallic/rattling noise from the front-left side of the bike.
I noticed that:
● In 1st gear, when I accelerate and reach around 15 km/h, the metallic noise starts.
● If I shift to 2nd gear, the noise goes away.
● Then in 2nd gear, when I accelerate to around 40 km/h, the same noise comes back.
● It seems to happen while accelerating/revving rather than continuously.
I’m wondering if it could be something around the front sprocket/chain/sprocket cover, since that’s on the left side, or maybe something around the front brake/ABS area.
The bike is practically new, so I’m planning to take it to the Bajaj service centre tomorrow after college and get it checked under warranty.
Has anyone with an N250 experienced a similar metallic noise? What could be causing it? And is there anything specific I should ask the service centre to check?
I can also upload a video of the sound if that helps.
